Disconcerted (B.B. Master)

Take a small instant messenger chat group of techno nerds from the Ruhr area, add a few new members, post old songs from the 90s and early 2000s, and casually listen to the content. That's how Desroi and Robin Tasi met and discovered their similar taste in music. And boom: the old-school sound-inspired label "Furious Funk" is born.

Starting with A1, Robin Tasi combines rhythmic tribal techno elements full of percussion and vocals in a four-to-the-floor, impactful, groovy, but also funky and fast-forward headbanger. Desroi's A2 focuses on a galloping baseline in combination with pitched vocals and energetic drums. – “YO!“ B1, titled "Bird Saliva" by Desroi, features hard-hitting four-to-the-floor claps and a driving, sometimes reversed kick and dynamic hats that complement the 90s vibe, while synthesizers and vocals engage in a dialogue.
Finally, B2, "Atmo" by Robin Tasi, takes you into an ambience of a punchy, flanger touched and striking clap and soothing strings combined with a gritty and raw 303.

GFX's "Oldschool vs Newschool" self release album is a two side project. On one hand, he's showcasing a retro & olschool vibe regarding the production and mix down of the tracks, targeting a 90s & 00s style. On the other hand, he tries to show a more actual and comtemporary approach, combining those two production techniques that trace his overall musical journey until today.

"Oldschool vs Newschool " is a project defining GFX's actual and older sound at best, subtly combining his main hard groove influences with hypnotic and ear catching sonorities, as well as his harder influences from the rave scene. He decided to create this album to mark and end to old artistic direction, that has widely evolved after finishing his studies in London. 

As from now on, he'll be only releasing more hardgroovish, hypnotic and mimimalistic productions.
