Calma Tensa es un proyecto que nace entre ritmos lentos y oscuros que vienen de otros tiempos, con la ilusión de aprender a fusionarlos con el Underground electrónico de hoy.
No va dirigido a atraer a grandes masas sino a esa pequeña minoría que conecta de igual forma con este tipo de música.

Ciao, mi chiamo Francesco, vivo in provincia di Bologna e sono della classe 1976 ed ho da sempre la passione per la selezione musicale, infatti fin dalla più tenera età mi divertivo a creare delle compilation su cassetta mettendo in sequenza brani perchè ci stavano secondo me bene uno dietro l'altro.

Il passaggio dalla compilation al mixaggio è stato breve, acquistando il mio primo mixer a 16 anni ed in rapida successione vari pezzi d'impianto audio fino ad arrivare al vinile ed ai miei due fidi Technics 1200 che uso tuttora.

Ai miei esordi amavo mixare la dance e la house degli anni 90... per poi scoprire il genere tranceprogressive grazie al quale a 18 anni ho avuto il mio esordio in discoteca all'Exodus di Portomaggiore (Fe).

Nel 2001 decisi di attaccare le cuffie al chiodo per dedicarmi ad altro... ma la mia passione per la musica non mi ha mai abbandonato, semplicemente avevo cominciato a corstruirmi un futuro lavorativo dedicandomi al 100% all'attività imprenditoriale di famiglia .... ma la quiete durò poco. 

Nel 2006 mi sono innamorato della musica afrofunk degli anni 70, all'inizio con semplici mp3 da ascoltare, poi da selezionare e col tempo ho ripreso a mixare... comprando poi uno dietro l'altro i vinili originali dell'epoca mettendo insieme una collezione ricca di dischi rari di cui vado molto fiero. 

La seconda rinascita come dj è avvenuta nel 2009 all'Arlecchino Disco di Santa Maria Codifiume (Fe), il tempio del funky in Italia. 

Da li ho cominciato ad accumulare esperienze anche in altri locali sparsi per tutta italia, come il SanVittore di Milano, lo Stargate di Castagnaro VR, il Dolcevita Kojak di Ravenna, l'Obelix Beach di Marina di Ravenna suonando accanto a vere istituzioni del mondo della notte fino a conquistare nel 2012 la residenza nella consolle dei Giardini Sonori di Ferrara e sempre lo stesso anno la residenza di Ca' De Mandorli - Bologna. 

Nel 2013 la svolta, il passaggio al livello di gestore oltre che dj resident della discoteca Cheek to Cheek di San Giovanni in Persiceto Bo... un locale chiuso da oltre un decennio e privo di tutto ma pieno di entusiasmo mio e del mio gruppo che mi ha donato un esperienza impareggiabile e fatto imparare a capire cosa vuol dire gestire una discoteca. 

Oggi questo.... domani chissà :-)
