Italian duo Orion are back, consistently offering their trademark warmth. This release on Dutch label Far Blue is another testament to their talent and deep love for what they do, and a perfect third release for this community-driven label. The EP will be available to purchase in vinyl and digital formats at the end of April.

The opening track on the EP, Her, evokes a whimsical, warm, and delicate aura of calm introspection, the track builds with hollow, immersive percussive elements, creating a neat and uplifting groove. Its slow pace and cosmic touch deliver a reassuring sense of well-being, that feeling where you stop for a second, and realise everything is going to be alright. Their laid-back personalities mirror the calm, collected nature of their music.

This track portrays just one corner of their repertoire, as the rest of the EP explores the range of these two talented Italian producers. You’re in for a treat.

mandarín - Take A Trip

This mix is a 3-hour journey I created as a kind of emotional and symbolic voyage — something that moves through darkness into light, into fire, and finally into a slow and tender resolution. 
It’s divided into four acts, each rooted in a different archetype, mood, and sound world. The genres shift along the way — from dark ambient and drone, through deep dubstep, experimental 170 DnB and (dub) techno, with touches of industrial and spoken word — but the emotional progression and sudden change of the genre and pace is deliberate and carefully woven.

ACT I - This act is the fall — a confrontation with fear, grief, the subconscious, and the underworld. It's dense and shadowy, drawing from darker ambient, experimental textures, and raw elements.
It’s about our dark shadow, sitting with discomfort, loss, and the unknown — allowing yourself to be undone.

ACT II - The second act is a glimmer — the first light after darkness. A quiet sense of hope, fragility, and openness appears. Sounds become airier, lighter, more spacious. This act is the breath after grief — not joy yet, but the possibility of it.

ACT III - This is the moment of arrival — fierce love, clarity, aliveness. The music becomes warmer, more energetic, rhythmic. Dub techno pulses emerge, fierce halftime grooves, emotionally expressive melodies. This act is about empowerment, connection, and the fire of selfhood.

ACT IV - The final act is a soft landing — the high fades into reflection and wisdom. It’s melancholic, spacious, and wise. The energy slows but doesn't vanish; it lingers like embers. Spoken word weaves through some of this, offering final thoughts, memory, and insight.
It’s the echo of the journey — not an end, but a return.

The mix is meant to be a whole journey — emotional, symbolic, and immersive — and I’d love for it to be felt that way rather than deconstructed by breaking apart the tracklist.



Take A Trip with mandarín

For our fourth release, we welcome Basel-based producer Ben Kaczor. ‘To Baby Bones’ showcases the tracks produced as part of Ben’s first live set presented at Above Below Festival in 2024. 

Written as a homage to a loved one, the title track of the EP is a gentle soundscape traveling through memories and subtle body shivers, far away yet never out of heart’s reach. ‘Bridge’, as if hung high above, suffuses the air with a thick emotional haze, lifting slowly as a walk along a fragile structure ends. Wistfully transforming present into past, ‘This Blue Light’ melds with the orange glow of the sun and dissolves into a white cloud. Driving and fizzy 'Punchbag’ brings all the dreamers down to earth. Immersing them straight into the buzzing front left, it buoyantly concludes an ode to the melody of life and the joy of a loving heart — To Baby Bones.

"I’ve been thinking about recording a left-field mix (for the lack of better term) for quite a while, definitely for a couple years already. About a year ago I finally complied the selection of records, but for some reason I was postponing the very final step of recording it ever since. It is only because I took my first ever sabbatical leave from work recently that I managed to find inspiration for it to be finalised, and even to be repeatedly re-recorded, since the first take got screwed by the recording device’s misconfiguration.

This is not a perfect mix. But I’m still proud of it. The selection of records spans from 92 to 112 bpm, and the very premise of playing it in one take using only vinyl still sounds challenging to me. Yet, here we are: the mix is finally ready after all these months and years of hesitation and procrastination."

To All That We Lose And All We Fight For is the debut album by Vera Logdanidi — the culmination of nearly two decades of musical evolution. Her journey began in the world of drum & bass and jungle, gradually expanding into deep explorations of house, dub techno, and techno. Over the years, Vera has performed on leading stages across Ukraine and internationally, while also mentoring a new generation of DJs and producers, hosting radio shows, and supporting the scene through her label and community work.
This album was written during a time of deep upheaval. The outbreak of full-scale war forced Vera to leave behind a well-established life and begin again on the international stage. While the music often feels dreamy and introspective, To All That We Lose And All We Fight For is a profoundly personal record — a sonic refuge shaped by grief, uncertainty, and resilience.
The album doesn't follow formulas; it’s driven by intuition, texture, and a genuine connection to sound. It's rich, emotional, and occasionally unexpected. The tracks form the core of Vera’s current live set, which has resonated at major festivals such as Draaimolen or Strichka — captivating audiences with its depth and subtle, immersive energy.
The cover art, created in close collaboration with Vera’s longtime visual team, is a real photograph — not a digital effect. It captures the tension between anxiety and hope: a glance back, and a step forward into the unknown. This visual metaphor reflects the emotional landscape of the album — the fragility of what’s been lost, and the courage to embrace what lies ahead.
This release also marks a new chapter for Rhythm Büro Records — one that moves towards music that is more personal, intimate, and unconstrained by expectations.
To All That We Lose And All We Fight For is released alongside another important Rhythm Büro release: RB011 — Your Curves EP by Na Nich. Ukrainian producer Oleksandr Pavlenko, formerly known as Sunchase, returns to his roots in broken beats and bass music, blending them with house and techno sensibilities. The four-track EP ranges from deep grooves to melancholic late-night moods — a compelling counterpoint to Vera’s album and a testament to the label’s evolving identity.
