Mixedbylidz, Recording and Mixing Engineer from Jackson, MS who has been involved in music since the tender age of five. During his adolescent years, Lidz recalls being in love with both visual art and music. One of his greatest musical inspirations was the late great Michael Jackson who inspired Lidz to be a singer/songwriter. While attending high school Lidz would meet his best friend and fellow producer Jameson Parker. Parker was influential in introducing Lidz to music production and recording. After high school Lidz went on to join the U.S Army and serve with the elite US Army Special Forces were he was deployed to Afghanistan. Upon his return through an unlikely encounter, Lidz would meet Leroy Jones owner and chief engineer of Sonic Signature Recording Studios. Through Jones Lidz would recieve his first opportunity to train and develop his skills and ear as a record producer and mixing engineer; but Lidz had a desire for more and after several talks with Jones, Jones sugested Lidz further his education and go to school and learn the art of Post Production Sound and film making. Fast forward to today, Lidz is a certified Protools Operator and Audio Professional with over 10 years of experience in the Entertainment Industry, from producing to composing to recording to mixing.
