After a brief hiatus due the pandemic, Russian label Minor Notes Recordings returns for their 7th release. During the first 6 releases they have gained a reputation as one of Russia's finest exports of house music to the world, introducing many us to the likes of Scruscru, Baltimore Chop and Lowres. However, after nurturing his own artists it's the turn of Guydee himself to shine and make a much-deserved debut on his own imprint. Over the last year Guy has taken some time out of releasing to rebuild his own sound and sharpen his production skills, now fresh out the studio he and has a full stack of new music to share with the world. First up is 'В стол EP', where Guydee presents 3 super deep compositions which include collages of organic sounds and original instruments by the man himself. Malta's deep house don Melchior Sultana is also drafted in on remix duty and provides a sub-aquatic flip of the lead track 'Svet'. As ever Minor Notes comes correct with releases on both Vinyl and Digital formats!

Young Bristol producer Litherland's 'Abstentia' has had an eventful summer after initial spring release, turning up everywhere from festival fields to Sasha's 'sunset pick' on Radio 1.

Now it returns with two contrasting remixes, as Clive From Accounts explores the fertile interzones between hypno house and spacey post - Lo Fi, whilst Londoner Kilig keeps the warmth and sense of scale as he dials down the pace, and hints of 2-step past float through the rhythms.

Rounding off the package, other EP favourite 'Metanoia' gets the roughneck 145bpm OG hardcore treatment from Denham Audio across two similar, and equally floor friendly, mixes

David Agrella returns on his newly-minted Agrellomatica Records with three fresh interpretations on ‘Robot Romance’.DJ, producer and recording artist David Agrella is an artist with a growing reputation as a versatile selector. Showcasing his musical inspirations across genres via his ‘Agrellomatica’ slot on London radio station Bloop, the first release on his recently launched eponymous imprint gained support from artists including Moxie, Korea Town Acid, and Jane Fitz alongside high praise from the likes of Ransom Note, Vinyl Factory and Bolting Bits. Up next, he returns to welcome a fresh set of material for the label’s second release, ‘Robot Romance’.‘Electric Nostalgia’ is an utterly addictive track that draws you in right from the start as swirling synths and subby pads float above crisp breaks. ‘Robot Romance’ slowly intensifies with fluttering chords that feel weightless as the even kick drums meet an elastic bassline, providing a propulsive gem. Agrella’s Transition Mix of ‘Fallin’ which closes the EP with pummeling drums and muscular acidic melodies, which are integral to the peak-time feel of the track.

This is SNGVA003, the third compilation from Sengiley Recordings, featuring fresh breakbeat and drums cuts, produced by new and established artists from around world. 

@dylandylanmusic gets things started with a slice of deep, UKG style beats, @marcbrauner & @jimbomack collaborate and make a continuation of the UKg vibe with a German flavour, followed by @foreachlt with a serious dose of uplifting breakbeat business. @togethrs produces some sublime drum & bass sounds, and @minorsineproject brings us vibey, acid breaks. @financialbanker supplies some atmospheric, laid back rhythms, followed by @norusmusic & @djwhiprsnipr who drop a powerful chunk of bassline orientated material. @withheldmusic brings the heat with an extended, melodic breakbeat excursion and lastly, @florianstuetzer winds things down with a deep and blissful track that serves up luscious pads and ingenious rhythms. We’re proud to introduce you to Spazio Tempo’s first release ever, a stunning album by its founder Luca Vera called ‘Transizione Degli Elementi’ - literally - Transition of the elements. The record is an actual journey into the artist’s creative mind and it’s composed of ten tracks, each and every one masterly crafted according to Luca’s experimental sonic ideal. Since the very beginning of the LP is clear how the producer wants to display a vast range of sounds, to perfectly epitomise a will to exhibit his versatility as a music composer and his inner urgency to show his style, finally on his own imprint. ‘Transizione Degli Elementi’ is a cohesive and solid work , yet quite variegated in terms of sonic influences, surely the result of an intense collaborative process between Luca and many musicians (Alessio Lalli: trumpet / Luigi Pizzuti: Guitar, Vocals / Aldo Mascio: Electric Piano) who helped him to convey the right message. All - in - all what shines through this beautiful digital EP - out in April 2022 - is a tenacious sonic attitude by the artist, who perfectly shows his experience and skillfulness by continuously shifting the sonic moods, from the meeker, smoother vibes of ‘L’inizio’, ‘Orizzonti’ and ‘Notte’ to the darker energy of ‘Idiosincrasia’, the more club - like approach of ‘Urto Elastico’ and the rhythmic burst of ‘Ossessione’. Then Luca takes his foot off the gas, slowing down the tempo with ‘Silenzio Violento ’ and creating a perfect anti - climax towards the end of the album with the acid vibes of ‘Sinestesia’, the dreamy gentleness of ‘Via Da Qui’ and the spacey, emotional ending of the stunning harmonic masterpiece ‘Gran Finale’. The record was mastered at the Land Studio and the Cover Art was designed by Francesco Scaramuzzo.

The 24th release of Sengiley has been in preparation and languishing for a long time, like aged dry wine in a French castle cellar, a French bouquet of young talents from Awlies & Véronique Samsung on their original Spot The Difference EP!

This experimental release is a dynamic and hypnotic journey where the languid and experimental sound of Awlies replaces the expressive and driving versions of the duo Véronique Samsung. Individually, Véronique Samsung is a living duo, born after a decade of collaboration between Clement Cosse and Tom Nomine, in 2019 in Nantes (France). The project has recently been marked by several great experimental releases and their virtuoso live show with drum machines, synthesizers and guitar, which showed their professionalism, seriousness of intentions and noticeable recognition.

Awlies, hidden in his Parisian studio in the middle of his tower of analog instruments, between a mpc and a cassette recorder, wants to produce a music without rules. A bit nostalgic, he naively seeks to find the electronic music of yesteryear based on contemporary melodic structures.

His part on the EP remains a plan without a projected artistic direction, like a bottle in the sea. Here, Awlies wanted to try deep-house, he tried.
