Mexican label Kyma Komplex (@kymakomplex)welcomes Persona RS (@personars)& Bojarchük (@domas-bojarciukas).

Persona RS is a Chilean artist, dj and a producer, having played under various names and bands, has released music of different styles, on many different labels, currently living in Madrid.

Lithuanian bass guitar player called Bojarchük, dj and producer residing in Basel, have released music on Quixotical and Bonkers Records, he have forthcoming releases on various labels.

This guys have put together a few exquisite tracks, they recorded bass guitar lines, a bunch of analog synthesizers, unquantized weirdness, some vocals and came up with ‘Relics‘ EP, with some Kraut, Balcanic, and Psychedelic influences in it, and… its packed with three brilliant and raw remixes.

The excellent opener ‘Unchained‘ is a psyched-out cut, dark atmospheres with a vocal that invites to unchain ourselves and shake that body. Next, Roman came with a brilliant version of ‘Relic’ jumbled percussions and trippy synths that are a mind-blowing. Bojarchük version its a heavy tune, with fleshy bass and a mysterious lead that takes you into a dark mystic forest.

Nick Hanzo (@nickhanzo)und das molekuel (@dasmolekuel) flips the track ‘Unchained’ into something more plastic-elastic with looping arps and female vocals, they create a colourful, psychedelic trip. Tkuz steps up with a terrific version of this track too, the solid drums and the fat-greasyjuicy bass he use, create the never-ending mental loop, carefully designed to do real damage on the ‘floor.

Last but not least the Brazilian duo Moozeic with another fine reconstruction of ‘Relic’, with breathy vocals, driving synths and drums all working you into a lather to land this great trip.

Not An Animal Records is made up of Andy Bainbridge and Chris Stoker and has always sat well on the left. The slick London imprint has been dancing around the club scene playing at the cooler end of the festival circuit for a decade with their wonky underground disco selections born out of their party, Bad Passion. This edge of the arc attitude is mirrored in their label output with a run of releases from the upper echelons of the scene from Man Power, Ian Blevins, James Hadfield, Que Sakamoto, Komodo, and Ponty Mython. On its next gift to the underground club world label co-head Andy Bainbridge steps in with his debut solo on his home label serving up much late nite goodness with a couple of remixes that will blow your mind.  The original cut ‘Up Too Much’ is an evocative classic house cut with lashings of acid, while the Donalds House Remix moves further to the left amping up the acid waves and the trance. Komodo’s Remix closes out in true Chicago style for the win.
