Following floor shaking four trackers on Bliss Point and his own Professional Music imprint, SPF 50 continues his roll on Amsterdam’s Dzungla label with the Terrarium Trek EP.

Terrarium Trek finds SPF 50 exploring the vanishing space between electronic and organic, returning to us with four sonic ecosystems encased in no-frills club melters. Each track thumps with life, conjuring the beauty, mystery and terror of the natural world, stomping and wriggling out of the sound system and immersing the dancefloor.

Composed using modular synthesis, sampling, and a process that eschews the rational for something deeper, with Terrarium Trek SPF 50 has once again gripped the unknown and pulled it into us, turning the club up, inside and out.

an intricate tapestry of pulsating beats and bubbling 303s,
crafting a track that demands attention and dominates the
dance floor.

Complementing the original, @route8 takes a fascinating
detour into more ethereal territory with the 'Woke Remix.' This
masterful reimagining transforms 'Open Your Mind' into a
dreamy, lush club tool. The remix flows like a serene river
through an otherworldly landscape, featuring silky smooth
chords and hypnotic undertones. It's a captivating blend of
ethereal atmospheres and rhythmic precision, perfect for
those moments when the night begins to dissolve into dawn.

10 artists make their PIFF Records debut with equally as many tracks on a groove-laden VA spanning all varieties of spaced-out house and techno.

Never afraid to vary their musical output, PIFF Records has previously released music spanning UKG, dub techno, and deep house. Over the course of 10 tracks, the label showcases artists who are equally unafraid to blur sonic boundaries. If the descriptors ‘techy’, ‘trancey’, and ‘proggy’ apply to tracks which match your taste, then this VA is bound to be right up your street.

Cybernet opens the VA with Ocean Echo, a sonic voyage complete with acid squelches and delay-drenched arpeggios. Laars expands on the acidic motif with a distorted 303 bassline in Infinity 6, landing in trance territory with elevated tempos and exhilarating sequenced plucks.

Tourman takes us back in time to the early ‘90s with Italo-infused I Love Models. Pumping chords and luscious pads drift over infectious drums and esoteric vocal splices. Conversely, Coaster Roller by Haand is an uplifting trance banger complete with a chugging bassline and ethereal soundscapes taken straight from the turn of the millennium Balearic coastline.

Label boss Liam Be makes his first release on PIFF Records with Do Ya, a mysterious and meditative progressive cut built around a haunting lead melody and incisive vocal stutters. Mick Jerome resurrects flavours from the early days of tech house on Let Me Tell You; one for those who like their drums fat and basslines fatter.

rounds comes through with jungle-influenced, breaks-oriented Tabaih. A soaring woodwind melody and eagle-screech samples invoke calm and reflection - perfect for a moment of calm in the midst of chaos. Llip brings back the irresistible grooves with the minimal house stepper Wobble Trouble, featuring swung drums and basslines designed to send limbs flying.

440Hz provides hybrid UKG flavours on Frequency Drawing, combining two-step drums with a gradually evolving FM bassline. Closing the VA with Here 4, Moodii merges late ‘90s trance vocals and synths with speed garage drums to create a spine-tingling anthem worthy of closing not just the VA but any set.

"Dimensions Variables” in French, is the standard term used to describe the size of an artwork that fluctuates or cannot be physically limited.
The evolution of music is continuous. Genres shift, temporal structures deform, formats explode, and all refuse to be confined to a box.
This first volume captures a precise moment, one where the scene, both in France and beyond, pushes creativity and the richness of what’s happening right now just a bit further. Ten artists, ten vanishing points, who, through their visions, move the boundaries of what seemed to be defined. Mirage Sud is proud to present their universes. It’s an invitation to lose yourself in this open, shifting space, without a fixed point, but constantly tending forward.
Here, house music becomes dense and sunny, sometimes flirting with a warm, textured trance. It’s progressive, but never static, as if nothing ever stays in place.
In this porous zone where reshaping the past and surfing on codes coexist with the way of breaking free from them. Maybe, in the end, everyone is just trying to move beyond their own limit.

Germain CLS propose un nouvel EP “ZEIT” qui sort en février 2025 sur le label DLZ. Une collection de 5 titres qui mélange les sonorités rave des années 90 et la progressive moderne, avec des remix de Gneiss et de Bliss Inc. Un mélange qui se retrouve dans ses sets qui reflètent la diversité de sa palette sonore dans une recherche de spontanéité et de simplicité.

The fourth installment of our mix series comes from none other than Paris-based DJ and producer Gaspero. Founder of Ryugu Records, Gaspero is a passionate and insatiable digger, taking listeners on deep sonic journeys that trace back to the golden era of progressive trance - seamlessly blending these roots with modern-day productions inspired by that same spirit.
His work aims to bridge generations, fusing past and present influences into a contemporary, club-focused aesthetic that feels both nostalgic and forward-thinking.

Ever since stumbling upon Gaspero’s mixes, I’ve been obsessed with his sound, drawn in by his ability to curate truly exceptional selections time and again. I must admit I had high expectations for this one, and he more than delivered: high energy, endlessly hypnotic, and unmistakably his own style.

Opening a new chapter in his artistic path, 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗾𝗺𝗶𝗻 debuts his imprint 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝘂𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 with "𝘙𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘙𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘳", a release that sets the tone for what’s to come.

“Radiant Radar” draws from techno’s weight and intensity but slows the tempo into a more spacious zone. Industrial edges cut through the mix, but they’re tempered by a luminous synth work that shimmer across the spectrum, keeping the rhythm warm. The textures carry an analog feeling, raw but finely balanced, giving the track both a tactile presence and a sense of mystery. The atmospherics lift the mood, turning that mystery into something inviting: hypnotic, uplifting, and ready for the dancefloor.
