[PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] presents the fresh 35th release "Envelope Depth EP" by Croatian dub techno maestro Davor Tosovic (@davortosoviclive). This mini-album, comprised of three original tracks and six remixes by artists such as Roman Ridder (@roman-ridder), Seabra Monkey (@seabra_monkey), Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer (@enercube and @x_fr), Liuos (@liuos), re:fraction (@sound-driven-society) and Giuliano Rodrigues (@givlianno), deserves special attention.

"Envelope Depth" refers to the amount of modulation applied to the envelope generator in a synthesizer. This parameter determines the envelope's impact on sound characteristics over time, such as volume, pitch, or filter cutoff. In this album, each track experiments with this concept, offering a unique sonic journey.

Davor Tosovic and his fellow craftsmen, who crafted special remixes for this mini-album, invite listeners to explore the depths of sound space, transporting them into the world of dub techno. While we’re less sure about who/what Momios is and why they/it should be fought, the acid and jazz parts of our premiere are self-evident. Fighting Momios With Acid And Jazz is the B1 cut from the upcoming second release of Leicester label, Flat White. Bogota’s Felipe Gordon is the artist behind the record that encompasses a lot of what we like at Bolting Bits: flavours of house, disco, techno and interesting blends of samples and original instrumentation.

The "Deep Fried Banana" EP is a five-tracker featuring a remix from The Last Trip To Gandahar, whose work we’ve premiered before. There isn’t a track we wouldn’t buy on this record, but our premiere is the stand out for us. While the percussive elements cut in and out, dusty-sounding jazz piano samples and a looped acid synth-line staple this track almost all the way through. It’s one of those pieces of music that feel like every part is completely intentional – even the rough bits are supposed to be rough. Felipe Gordon has built an impressive resume for himself recently, with releases on London’s Quintessentials and Berlin’s Toy Tonics, and we’re happy we can play a part in getting the word out on this guy, because his future looks bright. PREMIERE: Alfredo Avila - Deep Ride [House Cookin]

Berlins premiere Bass Collective continue their march into history with yet another TKO vinyl from regular contributor Bridge Guy. His 4 originals are joined by an absolute hammer of Deepness from Jesse Bru who steps up to remix Psilocybin.
Bridge Guy is exploring Deeper sounds in this EP and Isopropyl opens proceedings with a trip of clattering percussion and synthwork, all with a laid back slant.  Deep enough for the heads but with a sound that just pulls you in.
The theme is somewhat continued in Lone Frenchman, but where the previous track takes a step to the left, The Lone Frenchman turns right and gets his rhythmic jam on. Tightening up the groove and laying the dancefloor to waste.

Psilocybin really pulls the bass and groove center stage, bouncey and warm and with a whole load of rhythm in the boot. This one is for the turning point right in the middle of the night where things start to get a little more freaky.
Cheese on Toast, drops things back a touch. Thick tones and a more relaxing vibe perfect for losing yourself in, as the last of Bridge Guys originals rounds out a remarkably vibey EP.
Closing out the package we have Jesse Bru's storming remix of Psilocybin, easily up their with some of the best lo-fi House of the past few years. Jesse rings his own vocal work and really heats things up.

Someone who seems to be pumping out the tunes of late is Max Telear, so no surprise that he's back here with another track on a new EP. 'Insecure' is what Max's sound is all about, full and warm deep house with bags of groove. Pulsing deep chords rule over crisply produced house beats and euphoric vocal sampling. Keep 'em coming Max!
