Beside the railway depot, beyond the equinox, the atmosphere felt tense. Movement defined the top of the arches, but in the darkness beneath, there was little much kinetic or soulful with which to connect. Bird song crept into the nocturne, it's inky black sky beginning to bleed blue.

A whole year on from his debut on Hot Concept, Bleaching Agent continues his journey "from gabber to Goldfrapp" with another exemplary EP on Hot Concept, the Berlin-based label run by John Loveless. Premiering on R$N is 'Faster Silence', which distills BA's lifelong love of DIY culture into a slowly rising outsider-anthem in waiting, replete with post-punk licks, crashing drums and rich synths; big room house for basement punks.

Renamed and reinvigorated from his former LOR incarnation a few years back, Belfast producer Gregory Ferguson has created a textured landscape of aural oddities that take the LP form of an ambient tapestry. Faith/Reason traverses the boundaries of space we find in the twilight hours when the world stands still for a second and we're reminded of the fragility of the lives we inhabit.

Having spent the last twenty-five years producing under the FBA moniker, this will be the first time Matthew Puffett has released under his own name. Having been a pivotal player in the early days of the British Techno scene, Puffett has spent the last decade based in Berlin, where he has continued to release music to critical acclaim.

Having experimented with ambient and soundtrack work on recent FBA releases, Lower The Anchor sees this side of Puffett’s production work come to the forefront for the first time. The idea is to digitally release a new track every four to six weeks, eventually collecting them into a physical compilation.

Leading here with the titled track ‘Lower The Anchor’ as single one, accompanied with the sleazy anthemic dub version.

Vertere Berlin is a contemporary fashion brand and party collective founded by a group of local DJs and designers. It was founded in 2017 and since then rose to international attention for their club-ready streetwear and their fashion collabos with DJs and labels like Jennifer Cardini, Disco Halal, DUAT Records to name a few.

Vertere Berlin also made a name for themselve for their hyped party series “Strictly Dancefloor Business” - hosting artists like Roza Terenzi, Narciss, DJ Fuckoff, Boris, Heap as well as their resident DJs.

As a logical next step Vertere Berlin is now launching their music label Vertere Berlin Records. 

The first release is by label founder Uli Hasselmann aka Basic Instinct. Basic Instinct’s DJ sets represent a hypnotic and atmospheric dub-house sound. This is also reflected in this release. 

“Angel Dust” is an elegant and moody house track - enriched with a stab-led groove and a haunting vocal.

“Feel It” is dubby and sexy prime-time track. Seducing vocal cuts are joined by a warm analogue lead line.

The EP also includes two stunning remixes by VRIL and Narciss.

After last year's lauded 3-track EP "TOPINAMBUR" we're more than happy to announce @robag_fm's return to SPEICHER. On the A-side, Robag delivers a deep hypnotic chugger that goes by the simple but ultimately affirmative name "YES". In all its simplicity, it's one of those tracks that gently tosses you down the famous rabbit hole. The flip side "CALMA CALMA" is pure summer festival bliss, resurrecting the spine-tingling a cappella from C'Hantal's proto techno classic "The Realm" for the 2020's. Both tracks are 100% Robag... highly emotive, über sexy and yet somehow hazardous.
