Berlin’s Hypersoft collective kick off their new label with a 15-track VA raising
funds for trans youth and a launch party at OHM.

The collective, run by Berlin and London-based DJs TPR and DJ TEETH, emerged onto the scene in 2022 and is known for balancing breakthrough and established artists from the new school of the progressive landscape with legends and innovators of the scene, a resident lineup that includes Cromby, Bambi and Bliss Inc. and guests ranging from Sunju Hargun and Spekki Webu to nd_baumecker and Jane Fitz.

Their first release as a label follows the same principle: Adam Pits, Angel D’lite,
Bliss Inc., Cromby, D. Tiffany & Dugong, DJ TEETH, Desire, Dylan Forbes, E-Talking, Eoin DJ, Frederik Tollund, Inner Zone, Kasper Marott, Lisene and Running Hot all contribute to a VA that represents the nexus point where multiple axes of the current club landscape converge. Futuristic neo-prog and razor-sharp tech house, heavy progressive rollers and massive dancefloor bombs, percussive acid workouts and lush, synth-driven HD prog, neo-trance vocal euphoria, feel-good house, dreamy breaks and UK rave nostalgia: It’s all here, colliding on a VA that explores the spaces inbetween and a vision of things to come.

advocating for trans and non-binary youth in Europe and the UK.

While summer is already in full swing, we have compiled the perfect soundtrack for your sunset or sunrise parties. Here is Smiling Comp Vol.1, featuring 8 tracks that reflect our influences, ranging from Balearic and progressive to electro and trance vibes, created by local and international artists we've encountered on our travels.

The compilation opens with a progressive piano track by @breezysmusic, evoking a nostalgic vibe from years before we were even born. "Insomnia 92" is followed by "Some Magnetic Way" by @geo-taguchi, capturing the perfect Balearic summer mood. Next is @doubluremusic with "Looping Loop," a close friend who once again proves he’s a top-notch electro producer.

Some of our co-founders are also featured in the compilation, each showcasing their unique talents: "Call It a Day" by @arvemusic highlights his electro and rock inspirations, while @nairless-music makes a striking return with "Celestial Infinity," ideal for an afternoon in Tisno for those in the know.

We then enter peak dancefloor euphoria with the progressive "Spellbound," the debut release from @eclectic_elektra! @aidenfrancis needs no introduction; his energetic "Pomona Beach" definitely sets the tone for an endless summer. Finally, our dear friend @shader_dj perfectly closes this compilation with "Nighcrawler," leading us into a trancey and nostalgic atmosphere until the end of the night.

@soft-limits, a Prague-based event and music collective welcomes 9 artists from around Europe for the first label release, "Soft Limits VA vol. 1". While maintaining a consistent message of progressive and groovy, each artist has cut out their spot amongst the compilation.

From deep and warp-y to powerful and dance-y, the collection of tracks tells a story of the eclectic taste of Soft Limits. While relying on a home base of traditional trance and house elements, further reaches into more obscure genres tend to leak into each production.

'French label Danz La Zone reach their tenth milestone of sonic output. For the big X, they're armed with a heavy-duty EP from Germain CLS. DLZ010 is comprised of a quartet of high-magnitude tracks from the rising Parisian DJ, and reinforced with radiant remixes from Bliss Inc. and Gneiss. Similar to our latest premiere from GODDEZZ, Danz La Zone is another daring label where nothing is off-limits regarding style. Demonstrating a genre-defying identity - but if you had to be specific - they're blurring all the realms of Techno, Trance, and Prog. Berlin label SEVEN announce their fourth EP release courtesy of rising local talent Posture and Sparkly Pony. Sweat Repetition, featuring remixes from 131bpm and Eoin DJ, arrives 28th March on vinyl and all platforms via SEVEN. Launched in 2024 by Berlin artist CRYME, queer and FLINTA-leaning label SEVEN play at the tantalising intersection of house and techno with their unique brand of uplifting, genre-defying sounds that speak to the heart of the global underground. Much more than a label, SEVEN is a movement - fostering community, highlighting underrepresented voices and redrawing industry standards with transparency and integrity. In just a year the label is already being recognised as a vital force on the electronic music scene with a keen eye for next gen talent, and with Sweat Repetition from Posture and Sparkly Pony as their fourth release it’s clear to see why.

Australian born DJ, producer and queer/ trans collective ‘Cuties’ co-founder, Toby Perks (she/her) aka Posture is the dance-floor diva of your dreams. Since making Berlin her base in 2022, she’s been a familiar face leading the dance at all of the city’s best underground parties and clubs from Tresor to Amina at Else. Renowned for soul-enriching sets of all flavours, from sun-soaked euphoria to sultry late night gems, whether she is DJing or producing her talent for igniting the mood is unmatched.

For Sweat Repetition, Posture teams up with fellow Berlin party-starter, DJ and master of captivating grooves, Sparkly Pony. Co-founder of queer collective SWEAT since 2014 and a DJ since teenagehood, Sparkly Pony made his way to Berlin via the Swedish and Danish club scenes where he quickly made his mark. On their new collaborative EP, over five tracks (including blistering edits from Ireland’s Eoin DJ and dance-floor troublemaker 131bpm) the duo dive into laid-back, soothing soundscapes combined with energetic drum workouts that will have sweat dripping on repeat.

Closing us out is Irish producer Eoin DJ with their delightful ‘Stretch & Repeat’ edit. Brimming with buoyant rave energy, dynamic drumwork and quirky sonic details, Eoin delivers the goods with this belter of a remix that transforms the mellower sensibilities of the original into a peak-time pumper.

This glorious EP is a must-listen showcase of two one-to-watch rising talents in Posture and Sparkly Pony, Sweat Repetition. Expertly balancing soft and hard across five excellent tracks, the goods are delivered time and again. Another immaculate release from SEVEN whose star continues to ascend as they bring the creme of Berlin’s queer club sonics to the global stage.
