The Community Cuts VA returns for a second installment, featuring 11 tracks from friends of the label, close and far. All proceeds from this release will be donated to Calman Trust in Inverness (https://calman.org/), where it will be used to provide music activities for the young people they support.

To celebrate the end of 2021 and Spinning Around's first year in action, Highly Minogue has invited some of this year's guests to contribute to a new independent charity compilation. This compilation features new productions from each artist, and all proceeds go directly to Australian First Nations organisations - including Pay The Rent and the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service - causes Highly feels strongly about after the loss of his best friend back in 2014.
Spinning Around is one of Melbourne community radio's most beloved shows, hosted by DJ and producer Highly Minogue. Airing on online radio platform Area 3000, Highly invites guests every week for an interview and a guest mix; uploading his segment for playback on the station's website, Soundcloud and Spotify. Known for his passion for electronic music and his conversational style, the show has accumulated many dedicated listeners tuning in every week.

Myles Avery is a producer, sound designer, and engineer based in Los Angeles. Since his debut in 2017, Avery's work has appeared at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Performance Arcade in New Zealand, and he has continued to advance his career as a producer and writer, collaborating with artists across the indie-pop landscape, including NPR-darlings Overcoats, Valley, Mako, Wingtip, ELIO, and others - and landing various commercial placements with clients like Netflix, XBOX, Space Jam, and more.

Returning to his solo output for us, 'Aldana' is a seven-track opus, combining his compositional expertise with uncanny dancefloor sensibilities. Across the release, bliss ambiance meets lush soundscapes, hypnotic rhythms tangle with hair raising breakbeats, and modular synthesis moves in tandem with carefully considered arrangements, all combining to create a deeply personal and moving collection of music.

From the opening 'Sparks' through to closer 'Liftoff', this is music crafted in equal parts for body and mind.

PREMIERE: Myles Avery - Kepppy

After the success of their inaugural VA, Out of Sorts invite Vienna-based artist, Farr, back for his first solo venture on vinyl. Give Me Shelter takes a step away from Farr's usual approach to the dancefloor. A delicate melody and deliciously colourful bassline are joined by a hypnotic vocal sample and intricate synth work to create a slice of peak-time euphoria. Elsewhere on the record, his usual tools for club destruction are at play, headed up by a balearic twist to this track by Ciel. Available to pre-order now via the Out of Sorts bandcamp.
