The fourth installment of Secretsundaze’s 9FINITY imprint releases the tectonic ‘get now EP’ from Irish, via Berlin dancefloor expert eoin dj. Their eclectic sets draw from all hues of the dance music spectrum, from psychedelic techno, indulgent hard house, pumping tech cuts and beyond.

eoin’s latest record pulls all of these influences into a tight, rolling house-centric EP that brings everything from the raucous to the utterly sexy. Thundering 909 Toms and gliding synths across A1’s ‘spin flip contrast a more percussive, hedonistic voyage through A2’s ‘skin on skin’.

Banging through the B-side with ‘faux baddy’, a mean dancefloor cut that draws the crowds forward for a slice of tribal hard-house. B2’s ‘get now’ is a certified club moment, with eoin’s punky vocals and sludgy reese bass line sliding throughout the uplifting drums and synth chords. A final moment emerges with the digital bonus track ‘the rapture channel’, a progressive groove blending buoyant percussion and large synth licks - an indispensable tool for any time of the night.

We are heading for a night to Itaewon from where French artist BOOH has drawn his inspiration from this release. On the remix duties we have his friend Krijka who is currently resides in Seoul and who has done a stellar job while keeping the essence of the original. The name of the tracks on this 12” are named after the iconic clubs of Korean’s capital where the artist managed to spend good quality time and draw his inspiration from, a major city with its vibrant nightlife that is very close to the soul of the artist. BOOH is on the roll recently with a string of releases on very well-known and respected labels of the underground with many more planned, so it's an honour to finally welcome him on Exarde. Enjoy this record and transport into the mind of this proficient artist that has opened a window into his world for us.

After a quiet couple of years, Glasgow house music veteran Ali Herron aka OOFT! is back with a bang, set to release his debut LP “Intricacies of Modern Life” on his own label, Foto Recordings. The album will be out on a double-LP vinyl package as well as on CD and marks the first album both for Ali and for his label. On the 2x12” you’ll find 10 tracks, but the CD also includes an intro, interlude and outro. Until a recent string of edits and a digital EP, we hadn’t heard much from the Scottish producer and now we know why. Almost 3 years in the making, the album was taking up most of his time in the studio. Pair that with manufacturing delays at MPO and faulty test pressings, well, it’s self explanatory.
