So happy to welcome Tourman back to the label with a vibrant EP that furthers our exploration of the lush textures of trance and progressive house. Fresh off his involvement in our debut 12”, Tourman once again transports listeners back to the heyday of rave culture, seamlessly blending classic trance elements with contemporary club influences. Each track is propelled by robust basslines, complemented by UFO effects and evocative soundscapes that captivate with their euphoric intensity. 

A big moment of the EP is Aiden Francis’s remix, which takes the original into new territory. His progressive touch introduces dub-tinged chords and a steady, rolling beat that evolves slowly, perfect for deep, heads-down moments in the club.

Berlin’s Hypersoft collective kick off their new label with a 15-track VA raising
funds for trans youth and a launch party at OHM.

The collective, run by Berlin and London-based DJs TPR and DJ TEETH, emerged onto the scene in 2022 and is known for balancing breakthrough and established artists from the new school of the progressive landscape with legends and innovators of the scene, a resident lineup that includes Cromby, Bambi and Bliss Inc. and guests ranging from Sunju Hargun and Spekki Webu to nd_baumecker and Jane Fitz.

Their first release as a label follows the same principle: Adam Pits, Angel D’lite,
Bliss Inc., Cromby, D. Tiffany & Dugong, DJ TEETH, Desire, Dylan Forbes, E-Talking, Eoin DJ, Frederik Tollund, Inner Zone, Kasper Marott, Lisene and Running Hot all contribute to a VA that represents the nexus point where multiple axes of the current club landscape converge. Futuristic neo-prog and razor-sharp tech house, heavy progressive rollers and massive dancefloor bombs, percussive acid workouts and lush, synth-driven HD prog, neo-trance vocal euphoria, feel-good house, dreamy breaks and UK rave nostalgia: It’s all here, colliding on a VA that explores the spaces inbetween and a vision of things to come.

While summer is already in full swing, we have compiled the perfect soundtrack for your sunset or sunrise parties. Here is Smiling Comp Vol.1, featuring 8 tracks that reflect our influences, ranging from Balearic and progressive to electro and trance vibes, created by local and international artists we've encountered on our travels.

The compilation opens with a progressive piano track by @breezysmusic, evoking a nostalgic vibe from years before we were even born. "Insomnia 92" is followed by "Some Magnetic Way" by @geo-taguchi, capturing the perfect Balearic summer mood. Next is @doubluremusic with "Looping Loop," a close friend who once again proves he’s a top-notch electro producer.

Some of our co-founders are also featured in the compilation, each showcasing their unique talents: "Call It a Day" by @arvemusic highlights his electro and rock inspirations, while @nairless-music makes a striking return with "Celestial Infinity," ideal for an afternoon in Tisno for those in the know.

We then enter peak dancefloor euphoria with the progressive "Spellbound," the debut release from @eclectic_elektra! @aidenfrancis needs no introduction; his energetic "Pomona Beach" definitely sets the tone for an endless summer. Finally, our dear friend @shader_dj perfectly closes this compilation with "Nighcrawler," leading us into a trancey and nostalgic atmosphere until the end of the night.
