Austin-based DJ/producer All Day Ray didn’t begin his musical journey in Texas. The Philly transplant draws from his Puerto Rican roots, his dad’s record collection and Yo! MTV Rap videos. Following his dad’s musical example as a vocalist/guitarist in gospel bands, Ray quickly took up congas and drums in his youth before adopting turntables as his choice instrument. Now, he's a staple in Austin’s DJ scene, Holding down several residencies. And playing at several large Music festivals including SXSW and produced tracks featured on SiriusXM, BBC Radio1, and Diplo & Friends

🔊  So Future Sounds is a bi-weekly mix series that invites the most plugged in DJs to give you a taster of the sounds that represent their world.

🔌For this episode we’re heading to Belgium to handover to a DJ and Producer who to makes some of the most exciting remixes and club edits around. He goes by the name of Hyalyte and after DJing for the last 8 years, turned his attention to producing 12 months ago. Hyalyte focuses on the spectrum of bass music and says he fell in love with music because of the deep basslines in classic UK dubstep.
