With a title such as “Freddy Fresh Ate My Hamster” it would be remiss for this release not to pay further homage to one of the god fathers of Big Beat, by asking the man himself, Freddy Fresh, to remix it. Freddy turns in a slower based bass thumping, latin twisted remix for the connoisseurs out there and we are chuffed to bits with it!
Funky breaks and sample wizard Lebrosk turns in a tasty cut ’n’ paste inspired remix, giving the tracks a lick of his own tasty production style. Finally, to round out the release, there is a Big Beat Sundays remix, tapping into a love of the likes of Mighty Dub Katz and Basement Jaxx to deliver a 4x4 pounder designed for the dance floor.

STEVE WHITE – Joined The Style Council at the age of 17, and is considered by many to be the UK`s finest drummer of his generation, playing on 15 albums with the legendary Paul Weller. As a solo artist Steve has released 4 albums. As a sideman, he’s been one of the founders of the Acid Jazz movement with Galliano and he played with The Young Disciples, JTQ and Working Week, through to New Orleans legend Dr John and the late great Ian Dury. Recognised as the youngest musician to perform at Live Aid, Steve also has performed at Live 8 aswell.

DAMON MINCHELLA – Formed Brit Pop heroes Ocean Colour Scene, going on to sell over 3million albums before leaving in 2004, has also been the first call bassist for Paul Weller for over 12 years. He has performed a with a whole host of other artists, including The Who, Dr John, Jimmy Page, Paul McCartney, Amy Winehouse and Carleen Anderson.

SEAMUS BEAGHEN –Seamus has played with a staggering list of artists including Iggy Pop, Morrissey, Supergrass, Babyshambles, Paul Weller, David Gray, Death In Vegas, Alabama 3, Madness, The Grid, Desmond Dekker, Barry Adamson and the legendary Tom Jones.

Together as TRIO VALORE they have a clear and precise message, and it`s all about the groove. Super cool, heavy funk, dancefloor jazz!

Founded in 2004, the simple principal was delivering the funk with engaging music that always rocks the dance floors, regardless of genre. Started by two of the label's key artists, Mooqee & Beatvandals, each release had to be a bomb! This ethos continued throughout the initial vinyl based volume series and as the label evolved alongside the changing digital landscape, helping to develop a global funk and mid tempo scene along the way.
