Pecoe is back on Breakbeat Paradise Recordings and he&rsquo;s brought a dream team of remixers to put together the volume 2 of his Funk Anthmns series. The first volumns dropped back 2020 and included 5 original jams and some big remixes from some of big names in the funky breaks scene. Volume 2 is no different with 5 new funky bangers from the Pecoe beatmaster himself and remixes coming from dirtyFly &amp; Bodex, discObeta, FunkinRight &amp; Ross Go.
Kicking things off with the dancefloor friendly Sucker U Missed followed by a remix from the Aussie producer duo dirtyFly and Boydex who&rsquo;s added some additional bass to it.Following a similar forumal on the 2nd track called Babe which see a clever remix from the always reliable discObeta who brings out some big solid grooves on his remix of Babe.
Things are about to heat up as we move along to the Highly Strung jam that finds FunkinRight apply some massiv basslines on his badass remix.
This followed by the smooth rocking I Know What You&nbsp;Want which comes well accompanied by a sweet funky remix by Ross Go before we end things with the party funk anthmn Take A Stand.

Breakbeat Paradise Recordings is turning back time to the early 70s when funk music was made by talented musicians joining forces in bands with the objective to create the next big funk anthem. So many big tunes and classic funk productions came out of this era and it also harnessed a new breed of funk bands across the globe who is dedicated to continuing the legacy of the funk music in the new millennium.

Breakbeat Paradise Recordings has proudly collected 4 bands to represent the new era of funk from various parts of Europe. German based Grand Slam, Swiss funk band Grand Mothers&rsquo; Funck, Nasa Funk from Greece and A Man About a Dog from the UK has all provided original funk jams to this groovy 12&rdquo; vinyl.
On this Digital we have even gathered some of the greatest talents in the electronic funk scene to produce some dancefloor-oriented remixes of these original funk jams. Beat Le Juice, Jayl Funk, B-Side &amp; BadboE has all given their signature twists and made some dynamite DJ friendly versions out of these funk bombs.

Leading the way on the a-side is Grand Slam who has created a big summer tune which sits in well with some of the current radio funk jams and will be sure to bring the ladies on the floor. Grand Slam has been around since 1985 by incorporating various flavors from Rock, Jazz, Soul and Hip Hop. The Get On Down jam from their release out in May 2017 shows just how it&rsquo;s done to do classic oldskool P-Funk which sounds as fresh as anything else on the radio here in 2020! Produced by (and featuring) veteran P-Funk legend Gary &ldquo;Mudbone&rdquo; Cooper!

Grand Mother&rsquo;s Funck means business on the straight up funky The Dog tune taken from their brand new album Take The Money. A special edit was done for this release as they are celebrating their 12th album release from a legendary veteran funk band who has been tearing up the Swiss funk scene for over 23 years now.
On the flipside the funk is riding equally high as Nasa Funk rolls in their Stand Up jam. Straight outta Thessaloniki, Greece comes this 5-man band with vocalist George Perin leading the way. This tune is produced with old friend of the label Basement Freaks.

Last but certainly not least we turn our attention to the UK where the band A Man About a Dog has cooked up a latin-inspired and jazzy funk tune called Pollos.
On the remix duties we start off with a beautiful electro remix of Grand Slam&rsquo;s Get On Down track by the talented Beat Le Juice, who has captured the smooth funky essence of the original and converted it into his own electro/disco bumping style.

For the second remix we turned to the always reliable, always groovy Jayl Funk who&rsquo;s putting some head nodding funky breaks on GMF&rsquo;s The Dog tune.
Last but not least we called upon 2 veteran producers in the electronic funk scene: B-Side and label owner BadboE, who&rsquo;s taken a serious flirt with some housy disco beats on their groovy remix of A Man About a Dog's Pollo track.

That sums up the first all original funk release to be dropped on Breakbeat Paradise Recordings. Roll into 2021 with some swagger and a hot batch of remixes “Party Beacon” by Qdup featuring Jerome Joyce. Party Beacon made it on to Juno Download's Best of 2020 Breakbeats, and is prime to be remixed. Qdup enlisted two of his favorite producers Beat Le Juice and the mighty Fort Knox Five for remix duty and both remixes are likely contenders to make it for Best of 2021!

First up we head across the globe to Poland's up and coming Funk and Bass producer Beat Le Juice to get his funky signature sound. Fans of the funk may be familiar with his tracks released on UK imprint Scour Records or his countless free downloads. That signature Beat Le Juice sound shines through with a boogie bass-line that dances effortlessly around funky chords. His remix is dripping with funk and even adds some extra talk box vocals to compliment Jerome’s party raps with style. Get ready for booty-shaking fun!!

Needing no introduction, label head honchos FK5 are continuing a string of fantastic remixes after their recent funky house reworking of “Good Gal Queen, Badmon Ting” by Average Citizens of Vancouver. Their remix pumps up the tempo, adds a 4 to the floor feel and goes full force on the disco vibes. The Party Beacon is shining brightly, so break out your funky dance moves and get down with the Fort Knox Five Remix.

Founded in 2004, the simple principal was delivering the funk with engaging music that always rocks the dance floors, regardless of genre. Started by two of the label's key artists, Mooqee & Beatvandals, each release had to be a bomb! This ethos continued throughout the initial vinyl based volume series and as the label evolved alongside the changing digital landscape, helping to develop a global funk and mid tempo scene along the way.

It's crazy to think how much the label has grown and now works with artists and partners from around the globe. Alongside individual artist releases Bombstrike is also home to the much loved Funk n' Beats, Disco Funkin' and Bass Funk compilation series, with guest curators helping the listener discover new music or unearth forgotten classics.
