Looney Moon Records' new series on radiOzora is kicking off with a special selection by label manager PHOBOS, paired with an audio-illustrated interview in The Ozorian Prophet.

LOONEY MOON – After promoting Trance parties in Italy for many years, the illustrious crew of Looney Moon eventually decided to spread the vibe of their events to an international audience. And which better way could have been chosen than doing this via music? So Looney Moon Records was founded in 2008, drawing on a collective of promising and varied artists from the very first day.

Concerning the music, the two label heads DJ Fog and DJ Phobos manage to realize a refreshing independent underground style. Based on a very sophisticated approach towards production quality, Looney Moon stands for highly energetic, kicking bass sounds and catchy synthesizer riffs, escalating to twisted sound structures and uplifting breaks and finally joining all the musical forces again in an intelligent, harmonic and melodic groove. This sound philosophy is currently represented on the new compilation “Looney Mood” that lives up to its name pretty much and therefore includes some seriously mad dance floor bangers.

PHOBOS – Since always into electronic music, in 1997 dj Phobos started listening to psy-trance, going to parties and festivals all around Europe. As a dj he has played in many parties and festival around the world together with lots of artists of international fame in the world of trance. From the point of view of his musical choice, he doesn’t like sticking to just one style of psy-trance, but he prefers to adapt his set to the hour, the people and the situation he finds himself in, taking always special care of the mixing. When playing during the night hours, he usually offers a Psychedelic Trance oriented style, with very psychedelic sounds which try not to degenerate into maddening noise or too dark influences; in the morning hour he will more likely choose to play more full-on underground stuff, trying to remain within the borders of psychedelics but with softer sounds, more suited for the light. Anyway he would rather play at dawn, according to him the most suitable moment of the day to enjoy his best sets. His djset is full of unreleased stuff .

He founded Looney Moon records with a group of friends in 2008, and he's still managing the label with dj Fog. Today Looney Moon Records is a very weel known music label with 5 killer compilations , 3 albums and lots of digital EP which bombed the dancefloors around the world.

William fell in love with Psytrance in his early teens, and was soon inspired to write his own music, so his first project Hysteria, was born. This project showed his innate musical talent & unique creativity on a global scale.
As he explored the world of Psychedelic music his understanding and appreciation of it grew. In 2013, William found himself desiring a change in direction, falling deeper into the psychedelic realm. He set out to focus on strong psychedelic music. Music that hypnotizes the mind, alters perception, and takes you on a journey into the depths of time and space without the need for anything else.
Loving the Bom Shanka sound for years, he sat down one day and was inspired into writing something very different. A mental change was being undertaken, moving into Pure and Intelligent Psychedelic music.

Telepathy started for fun but the passion for this music exploded and it became a hit all over the world overnight.

With his strong belief that each musician and musical creation should be unique and not just a generic imitation – he began applying his mind and passion to this powerful realm of Psytrance.
He started putting in countless days and nights, thoughts and creative energy into refining this new sound into something that takes the human mind for a ride into the deep expanse of space, time and beyond.

And so Telepathy was born!

Intricately and Intelligently constructed sounds, experimentation, use of the full dynamic spectrum, with careful thought and trust in his spiritual consciousness, employing simplicity and technicality both.

In a very short time for this young project, one of the biggest Psytrance labels, renowned for their high quality Psychedelic music (who he’d worshiped for many years), Bom Shanka Music, heard his music and recruited him as their secret weapon.
His music is played at the top parties around Europe, India and the world, with a titanic dancefloor response. Being the sole member of the clan hailing from South Africa, setting up his dream future of musical freedom, whilst evolving his music, with plans to experience and play his music for the world.

William spends his free time pushing his sound to new heights, trying things that have never been tried before, and delving deeper and deeper into the realm of Deep Psychedelic music.

PANTOMIMAN is back on Looney Moon Records series. Don’t miss his set containing tunes from his brand new EP.

Pantomiman is George Agaronov (or Gosha for short), a Russian psytrance producer with some extra flavour on top – he is a professional comic actor who comes from a family of circus comedy performers! Early in his childhood years Gosha began playing musical instruments, performing on stage and later composing his parts for a circus band. When Gosha was a teenager he discovered electronic music and a bit later towards the late nineties Gosha discovered something that felt very natural to him – psychedelic trance. Since then Gosha has been developing and working on his own sound, partly with an expert guidance from Alex Parasense. The past few years Pantomiman has spent DJ’ing and playing live around Russia entertaining crowds with his very special and very funny musical shows. Needless to say Pantomiman’s music is a psychedelic circus act in itself. Sometimes more aggressive and twisted, sometimes more nostalgic and funky music by Pantomiman never fails to surprise and excite. Pantomiman’s groovy bass lines and comical themes make people dance and laugh at the same time, while of course his skilful sound synthesis guarantees that a trip will be adventurous, joyful and amusing.
Pantomiman’s tracks have been taken for releases by such quality labels as Bom shanka music, Doof Records, Sundance, Up Records, Space Baby rec, Macky Mad House Records and Blitz Studios. At present he is working with the Looney moon records! Pantomiman is without a doubt the most original and unique psytrance producer in Russia and possibly even the rest of the world.

Doro is a full power psytrance DJ hailing from Italy. Born in Padua in 1988, he has been passionately involved with the psytrance scene since 2004. It was love from the start and from that very beginning there was no turning away from the music and vibe that is trance. One year later he bought his first consolle and together with his two best friends and DJ’s Ilai and Acid Mind formed the Davya Crew. In 2007 Davya Crew started creating parties and with their growing recognition also playing around Italy often alongside major international artists such as Tristan, Rinkadink, Atomic Pulse, Quantum, AMD, Painkiller and many others. As a DJ, Doro has become known for his powerful basslines and blasting tracks which alternate between hard grooves and crowd jumping pieces. In 2015 he met Astralex and joined the 24/7 Records label and today he is now a Blackliter and member of the Blacklite Records family.
