SSRが2012年にお届けするインポートCD第一弾は、日本の裏側メキシコから名乗りを上げた美男美女デュオ！早くもイギリスのラジオ局やDJ達から絶賛の声が寄せられている彼らの名前は、Solburst（ソルバースト）。ボーカリスト兼ギタリストのAlexandra Blakely（アレクサンドラ・ブレイクリー）とプロデューサーのVera Solari（ヴェラ・ソラリ）が制作する楽曲達は、スペイン語で白いソウルを意味するguero-soul とヒップホップ、それぞれの要素が軽妙にミックスされた、重すぎず軽すぎないサウンドを特徴としている。ソラリのディープなベースから生まれる深いグルーヴと、ブレイクリーのスモーキーなボーカルと真摯なリリックは、朝焼けにも似た爽快感が体中に駆け抜ける。5曲目の”Heat”もクラブの爆音でぜひ聴いてみたい一曲。
