Is the trombone sexy? Originally a jazz musician, Michael crafts electronic songs using trombone as his voice to tell an interesting story. 

The Gravy Train have been playing their own original funky tunes since 2014 but also cite influences such as Soulive, John Scofield, The Meters, Booker T, Melvin Sparks and Grant Green. They have a loyal following in their hometown of Cambridge and have been known to cause members of the Average White Band to say "Damn, you guys work hard!". They have also opened up for The Haggis Horns and the James Taylor Quartet. They have been working hard on their latest album which is set for release on 12th March.

Perhaps Contraption is some sort of art rock, punk jazz, marching band, post-classical THING.
