As vague as that may be,
cause although its always sunny,
something stood out that day to me.

The news of the election 
had just sprung into the times.
When I heard that Trump was running
I thought it was a joke, cause I was High

I've been told that my deficit
was attention since I could read.
I will always remember your face
but need conformation on most names.
(But it's whatever)

The Father Song

Song is called Either Way. 
My friend Stevie died a while ago. When I was at his funeral the minister had a nice speech. He said something along the lines of “...it is a shame when such a young person dies. There is so much that Stevie didn’t get to do. Like finish school, start a career, find love, start a family...” I remember thinking, that is a shame for whoever he was going to marry. I then got to thinking about the concept of soulmates. Maybe people that never find love never got to meet their soulmate, or perhaps their soulmate had passed before they ever met them.  After I got back from the funeral I wrote this tune. Hope you enjoy.
