Born and raised in west Berlin Michel Neigenfnd had only music and collecting records on his mind from an early age. Influenced by British ‚77 punk- rock and US punk from the late 80's, he soon realized musical boundaries were nothing for him. His equally large passion for hip-hop paved the way to first electronic productions when his passion for techno/house music steadily grew. The steadily growing success of the URSLRecords label which Madmotormiquel has been running together with Sebo and Soukie & Windish since 2010, has been a continuing reason for being booked way beyond the boundaries of Berlin. My first closing of a festival.. what can I say. I was incredibly nervous before and one of the happiest I have ever been during and after. 
Thank you to the everyone involed for making this magic festival happen, thank you to the sexiest booth dancing crew ever, thank you to a crowd that just went more and more wild until the end. I feel very blessed <3

"Playing at Mayan Warrior was such a huge honor for us - we still can’t quite believe that this was the first set we ever played at Burning Man! To see the impressive, multi-media art car with all its lights and glory waiting for us was intimidating, to say the least. 
When we arrived to play our set, it started moving into the Deep Playa, with us and our little group of friends following behind it on our bikes. The art car moved slowly, playing its ritualistic music and summoning its followers from the darkness as it set off into the desert. We were at the front of the procession, and every time we looked back, the sea of lights & bikes got bigger and bigger while our hearts started beating faster and faster. People on bikes started appearing one by one from all corners of the Playa, following the fire and lasers until the art car finally stopped and we climbed on top.
We will never forget what it felt like to play our music there….ours was the first set of the night, and we tried to capture the Warrior feeling in our own musical language. The tracks we played reflect the powerful vibe we felt looking down onto the crowd, with the bass booming underneath our feet and the lasers and flames lighting up all around us. Some of them are dark, some of them melancholic - and all of them are close to our hearts. 
We are so grateful to have been invited to share our music on top of the mighty Mayan Warrior, so to Pablo and everyone else who made it happen: thank you so much <3"
