J. Caressè, is a non-binary transperson (they/them), who has been creating and performing sound for more than ten years using way too many different monikers to include here. They work across genres such as industrial, noise, ambient, offbeat, dark and minimal techno and with experimental forms of composition.

EMA Soul On Fire Redux

Recorded on a plane somewhere between LA and London.

Cabin sound harmonized and post-processed/sequenced in Max mid-air.

This is my first Disquiet Junto project attempt.

I am currently in my cabin in the woods and have the wood stove cranking, decided for the "Record in Place" project for this weeks Disquiet Junto, I would create a droning string pad, and play it back through an old Emerson TV/Cassette stereo, I recorded some breathing harmonica next to the fire simultaneously during playback. One take w/ effects. Afterwards I  doubled the audio track and reversed one audio region, then added a bit more time based processing.

Here is a new EP of a few dirges. They are recent distant memories that I've been unable to extract until now.  The songs started as a private project that I didn't intend on sharing with anyone, stuck on my computer and weighing down the cloud.
