Rounding off a trilogy initiated in 2019, this final volume of Geins’t Naït’s archives -as seen, compiled & triturated by Vincent Hachet & Thierry Mérigout, the original duo - showcases yet another facet of the composite industrial mashup the band discharged into the late 1980’s Dadaist French underground between 1986 & 1993. Geins’t Naït’s final edit for Éditions Gravats agglomerates bits & pieces picked up from the soil of a muddy barnyard.

In the final episode of my 2024 show on NARR Radio, I am delighted to present Season’s Greetings—a celebration of the Autumn Equinox inspired by Chanelle Allesandre’s interdisciplinary exhibition In a sense / In Essence at Lump Gallery in Raleigh, NC.

Originally recorded on September 22, 2024, amidst the gallery’s installations, this collaborative transmission has been thoughtfully reimagined by me, doris dana, to evoke a dreamy, altered state of mind.

Featuring music, poetry, and botanical musings, this sonic capsule captures the essence of the exhibition. With contributions from contemporary underground artists and reflections on rowan and solomon’s seal, it serves as both an archive and a cornucopia—an auditory imprint of a season in time.

Suzanne Belle Stone: As a musician (White Gourd) and intuitive herbalist/educator (Moon of Hyldemoer), Suzanne offers heartfelt devotion to the Earth and its elementals through sound, herbal creations, and creative expressions.

La parallaxe désigne l'effet du changement de position d'un observateur sur ce qu'il perçoit. En l'occurrence on s'intéresse ici à l'auditeur; curieuse de sa perception de cette proposition musicale créée d'un angle, d'un regard, différent de celui d'habitude.
Elle désigne aussi le déplacement apparent d'une étoile relativement à des étoiles plus lointaines, causé par le mouvement de la Terre autour du Soleil. Mouvement, perception, changement. Lancinant, langoureux, contemplatif mais vif par moments, ce mix emprunte des sonorités célestes, brillantes, sombres et pesantes à une sélection r'n'b, ambient, sexy drill, & more.

This album is the result of several years of professional, internal and spiritual transformation. These internal searches were inextricably synchronized with external searches. A new sound, a new language, a completely different sphere of perception and transmission of material.

The fusion of electronics, downtempo, ethnic music and a state of no-mind in contact with spirit and nature revealed a completely unexpected taste that immerses into a real journey and this is how it is recommended you listen to this album - from the beginning to the end. There are no 'passing' tracks in order to simply 'fill the space'. Each work is a deep and sincere revelation in collaboration with remarkable musicians and vocalists, real professionals in their field.
