Complete recording of my all night set at Nowadays in all it’s flawed glory. First 20 minutes or so I was still loading my usb in the booth, after that I fully lock in and don’t step away from the mixer until the set is finished (nope no breaks, not once!).

This was the journey of my little dj lifetime, big big love to everyone who was there for any part of it <3

This was my closing set at Nowadays on October 13 with Yumi and Call Super. I believe this mix represents the direction I'm headed as an artist, and furthermore is perhaps the best set I've played thus far in my career, in my own opinion. Huge thanks to DJ Voices for selecting me to close out her residency night with two of my favorite DJs. It was an absolute dream.

"this mix is my love letter to dubstep. i normally try to play as many different styles and genres as possible in my sets, but this time i leaned deep into the 140. over the years it's become objectively my favourite genre to dance to, and whenever i hear it on a big soundsystem i'm always surprised and delighted by the new ways i learn to move my body. there are some darker bits, dreamy moments, silly curveballs, but most importantly lots of grimy abrasive wobbles that you've probably come to associate the genre with."

For the next few weeks, we'll be kicking off the Hot Mass podcast series with sets from all of our residents, starting with recordings from the recent Hot Mass x Berlin party at Ohm Berlin. @Boo-Lean, a driving force in Pittsburgh’s music and art scenes, is co-founder of the VIA festival as well as the girlFx crew. She delivers 002 of the Mass Cast, which set the crowd off with her set of sweaty bass-oriented house, techno, and broken beats.
