There’s a certain grace in consistency - and few embody it quite like Phil Evans. As the founder of Pager Records, he’s quietly shaped the sound of contemporary House with a signature blend of warmth, precision, and forward-thinking groove. Over the years, Evans has turned Pager into a breeding ground for refined producers such as Vitess, Christian Sarde, and Tiago Walter, but "E-Motions" feels like his defining statement: a double LP that doesn’t just compile tracks, but unfolds as a full-scale listening experience - equal parts club weaponry and emotional introspection.

The A-side closes with “Eazin”, a tribal-tinged Deep House cut that merges shimmering synths with hypnotic percussion. There’s a loose, organic flow reminiscent of Pacific State’s Balearic mystique, yet the production feels wholly contemporary - crisp, detailed, and alive. It’s a reminder that Evans doesn’t copy moods; he modernizes them. “Eazin'” captures that late-morning dancefloor serenity - all motion, no tension.

Steven machte aus purem Hobby seine Passion : die feine Kunst des Plattenlegens. Seit 2004 steht er hinter den Decks.

Er ist DJ mit Herz und Leidenschaft. Egal ob mit CDJs oder Vinyl - Steven fühlt sich in beiden Welten heimisch und vermischt diese immer wieder gern. Aus House wird Minimal, aus Minimal wird Electro, aus Electro wird “Housimal”… Eklektizismus pur und umgekehrt.

In genau diesem Moment die Finger am 1210er, das Ohr am Klang der Zeit, jederzeit zum Sprung in neue musikalische Gefilde bereit…

On one of his many trips to the USA, Mark J Klak discovered New Yorks legendary “Tunnel” in the early 90ies, where inside the Bucketheads took to the stage. From this one single experience came the turning point , the accomplished musician was converted to everything housemusic. The life of a Dj started as the first priority while producing his own music and delivering it to the people continued to grow stronger and stronger. The Boogie Pimp shot to fame with the worldwide smash hit “Somebody to love” …the gold record taking pride of place on the wall at the Pimps Studio. The follow up single “Sunny” also topped the Brittish billboard charts. Four videos were produced for these 2 songs across 3 countries, Cuba, South Africa and the Uk. These videos have featured on MTV, VIVA and music video channels the world over … stuff musicians dreams are made of. Since then, the Boogie Pimp have consistently released fresh tunes on labels Ministry of Sound, Superstar Records, Kontor, Housesession and many more and have been under high demand for remixes for the likes of Axwell, KLF, Jason Nevins, Deep Dish's Sharam, Marshall Jefferson and Rosenstolz, mixes which feature on playlists of the worlds top djs. The Boogie Pimp is, as a DJ, booked worldwide and relentlessly tour Europe, Russia, Asia, Australia and of course Ibiza.The Pimps continue to hold residencies, and play regularly in Moscow´s Neo Club, Frankfurts U60311 and also their own Club, The BOX in Erfurt/Germany.
