At a time when the medias are talking about nothingelse than Covid 19, at a time when most occidental countries are fighting against a mondial virus, but also watching for a sick system and a poisonous economy falling down, those western countries are still helping dictatorship and humanity murders while not helping people at all. We want to escape from this horror actualities with music for a while, and doing it helping as we can : founding the UNHCR ONG for refugees camp in Syria with this compilation.

A casi un año de la publicación de "Embruxo", considerado por la prensa española e internacional como uno de los mejores álbumes de 2021, Baiuca ha decidido reunir a algunos de sus productores favoritos de música electrónica para que reconstruyan parte del repertorio de su ya icónico álbum, para dar a luz un artefacto diferente: a medio camino entre el remix y la versión, los reworks darán nueva vida a parte del último cancionero de Baiuca.

El primer rework que llega es el de Pablo Nouvelle, productor suizo que se mueve de manera líquida entre el house, la electrónica orgánica y una impredecible mirada que, a la hora de reconstruir esta "Veleno" de Baiuca y Rodrigo Cuevas, la lleva a un territorio incluso de inspiración brasilera: con aires a la favela funk pero sin perder la mirada futurista de la electrónica orgánica.

Un trabajo que contó con la curatoría de Jiony, quien logra plasmar en distintos momentos la diversidad de sonidos, ritmos y colores de la escena actual de música electrónica.

While setting up a new pc, the project files were accidentaly deleted and we were left with this unfinished version of the track.
We decided to upload it anyway after giving it a little polish with the ol' mastering chain, because we think it has potential and is in a state, in which it is already enjoyable.

Pampa is a Quechua word (the language of the Incas) which refers to the fertile plains and lowlands of the Río de la Plata, which extend through the central zone of Argentina and Uruguay. 
The arrival of slaves in the 1500’s transformed the Pampa into a sonorous territory of rhythms mixed between African percussion and the native song of the Gauchos. However, in the mid-nineteenth century, revolution and war silenced the Pampa. 
A silence which led Silvio Astier to look deeply into his own Argentinian roots. 

With the Pampa EP, Silvio Astier presents a musical exploration of the ancestral Latin American landscape of the Pampa. 
The journey is led by Slivio’s own Pampean style guitar playing, flutes and hand percussion, set beautifully against the warmth of sub bass, mystical dub FX, vocals, and soundscapes. 

Silvio Astier is a multi instrumentalist musician and producer based in Buenos Aires. Mixing the rhythms and ancestral musical landscapes of Latin America with textures and beats of organic electronics. This sound is the product of the search for ancient Latin American music and its African influence, the constant dialogue between reminiscences of the past and the electronic sound of the present.
