Born in Buenos Aires in 1983, Mauricio Figueroa grew up surrounded by music and equipment that sparked his curiosity from an early age. By 1999, at just 16 years old, he knew he wanted to be a DJ, taking his first step into a career that would define his place in the electronic music scene.

In September 2000, he co-founded Dance Culture, a collective of Buenos Aires artists that, with a strong DIY spirit, began organizing its own events. This experience shaped his understanding of how music can connect people and set new trends.

His passion evolved into production in 2011, when he decided to expand his artistic reach. Since then, he has honed his sound, known for blending genres and rhythms in creative ways. As a producer, he has released multiple tracks on labels such as Up & At'em Records—his own imprint—as well as Urban Garden Recording, LW Recordings, Beathey Recordings, Buena Musica Recording, and more.

Now, as the owner and manager of Up & At'em Records, Mauricio continues to support new talent while solidifying his own artistic path. His versatile approach and passion for innovation have made him an influential figure in electronic music, both for his studio work and his ability to craft unique sets that resonate deeply with audiences.
