As part of my ongoing project "Music for Planes and Trains", this was the first track that I created on the plane bound for Japan in April 2024.

My little sister turns 70 on August 7, 2024. She was the first female companion I ever had in life, we were wrapped around each other's fingers during the 1950s, even shared the same bedroom, walked to school together each morning. We spent our seminal years together. We are both still going strong.

I'm treating this track as a bit of an experiment or you could say a demo of an idea I have to introduce vocals to some of my tracks. It's a laid back jazzy, ambient track that I made when I was eating my dinner a few nights agao and then tweaked the next morning.

A Moment Of Sublime Clarity

I visited my daughter and her partner's new apartment a few nights ago and put this track together when I got home.

So far this is a backing track for something I'm going to add guitar to. The name was inspired by the almost 44 Degree (Celsius) day.

Today I had the most wonderful discussion with my 19 year old son, Finn.
The subject was responsibility versus blame. We got into all aspects of the repercussions of cause/effect and the difference between blaming others for our misfortune and condition as opposed to taking whatever responsibility that we can ourselves. This discussion inspired this 
"sound sketch" which took about 2 hours max but for me it epitomizes what we spoke about. So now whenever I listen to this piece of music I will remember the magic moment that we shared.
