Dear Friends, I'm totally psyched to be sharing this mix with you.  In the last year I've been (almost) all over the world performing, introducing people to this sound. The response has been overwhelming, and it seems like every new gig I travel to now has an even more electric atmosphere than the last. I've always been highly selective of the music I play, in an effort to define something new and distinct, and I feel now that this style is getting the recognition it deserves. 

So it's not often I do a mix, and this time I really wanted to showcase the state of the art of psychedelic tech-funk. Desert Dwellers is the convergence of music producers Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe, who honed their individual skills in the mystical desert of New Mexico and California, long before electronic music reached the mainstream. Brought together in the 90s through the legendary Moontribe gatherings, the duo has a extensive history with a #1 album on Beatport, countless collabs, and a long list of iconic venues and festivals they've performed at over the last two decades such as Burning Man, Red Rocks and Coachella in the US, Boom in Portugal, and Rainbow Serpent in Australia.
