Entering the Trance-state through music and dance leads us to the realm of Crazy Wisdom, where cultural convention is thrown aside and ecstatic and wild behaviours are as much a path to enlightenment as they are a manifestation of knowing oneself and being free! 

The Crazy Wisdom we experience on dance-floors and welcome into our lives has been perfectly encapsulated by Tristan's eagerly awaited new album.

Honing his craft to new levels of brilliance over recent years, Tristan's trail-blazing productions have been the envy of many a producer as he has forged new sonic avenues.  These skills beautifully allow for Tristan's bewildering story telling, taking us all along for the ride!

Evocative visions of incense-clouded shrines within ancient monasteries, atop high mountain peaks, explode into tribal dancers, whirling dervishes, sun-sets in a tropical paradise, sun-rises over golden sands, crowds gathered in euphoric unison amongst prehistoric banyan trees with brightly coloured hummingbirds zigging and zagging, and intergalactic fireworks leaping across the sky.  The medicine is strong and the moment is forever. 

Tristan's power to create massive musical tales that lock us into moments like these is clear to all who have witnessed his legendary sets around the globe. Containing nearly all the tracks played throughout my 2016 season in Asia, the outcome of my latest freestyle session is like rocket fuel mixed with high grade Acid. It took me a while to record this new mix, but here it is. It was inspired by underground gatherings in the Malaysian jungle, Chinese meadows, the floating villages and bamboo forests of Thailand as well as clandestine clubs in Japan.

The outcome is a far different style than what I play in Europe: it pays respect to the intoxicating, overwhelming vibe of the East.  No breaks. Not suitable for a lazy Sunday. Definitely suitable for your own private stomp, after which you will probably need a shower... :) Have an exceptional mind-bending journey through this psychedelic jungle experience! Kostas Daikos is the person behind the Greek project E-Mov.
His interest in electronic music production started during his student years which he spent mostly in the UK. With the experience he already had from many years of musical studies and as a performing guitar player in various bands, he started composing various styles from lounge to drum’n’bass, over ambient to psychedelic. In 2003 E-Mov was formed, aiming mostly in creating a blend of psychedelic and progressive music, largely influenced by ethnic and tribal elements. Guitars, male and female vocals and percussions were ingeniously incorporated. Since 2013 E-Mov joined Belgian label Dacru Records.

Dacru Records is a Belgian psytrance label. The label boosts a strong selection of artists, from major names with a 20 year career under the belt to younger promising talents. The rosters includes names like U-Recken, Talamasca, DigiCult, Spirit Architect, Tropical Bleyage, Bitkit, E-Mov, Electric Universe, Aquila, Overdrive, A-Tech, Transient Disorder and more. The aim is to release timeless music with a strong emphasis on the psychedelic and melodic.
Besides being a record label Dacru has also been making a name as event promoter with over 80 events since 2001, that’s a whole of a lot of experience that goes into organizing quality productions. The events have taken place all over Belgium, from The Netherlands to Germany and even in exotic places as Thailand and include big and small indoor events, open air festivals, bus trips, 11 day pop up clubs and more. Some of the party lines include Organic Dreams, Tribal Roots, After Sunrise and Nova’s Incident open air.

Europe based Boom Shankar is a Dj for Psychedelic Trance, the label manager of BMSS Records, a mover, groover and event creator within Europe and Asia.

Having been initiated into the Goa Trance scene in the early Nineties and by travelling the globe ever since, his sets are a mirror of the constant melting pot of fundamental Psytrance characteristics.

Whether he is guiding the dance floor from the sunset through the night, from a peaking full moon into the sunrise, from the morning into a sun-blessed day, or closing a festival with one of his extended sets, the outcome is always a voyage filled with a depth and an energy that allows the crowd to experience a sense of freedom and a full expression of their self through Trance.

Energetic, ecstatic, transcendental, deep, mature, hypnotic and clearly distinguishable. Eye to eye with a unique and captivating smile.

Due to an experience of nearly 30 years behind the decks, and by having played at a plethora of underground & major events worldwide, he has developed a full understanding of the flow and the energies of each dance floor and is fully flexible in terms of "styles" which he considers a separation necessary to overcome. "Keeping it holistic" describes his approach to Psychedelic Trance probably best.

Through his fully improvised impromptu sets, he is able to interact personally with each dance floor, taking the audience on a trans-formative journey. His sets are not a performance, they are a direct form of communication through music, not a monologue but a full dialogue with the dancefloor which can last up to 12 hours. All of those journeys are unique and created in this specific moment in sync with the energy and the vibe of each dancefloor, a characteristic of the original approach to Djing Armin considers essential and necessary to keeping alive.

For Boom Shankar, this process of mutual giving and receiving between the Dj and the audience has led to rewarding and meaningful feedback from festivals like BOOM and Insomnia in Portugal, Universo Paralello in Brazil, Fusion, VooV, Indian Spirit and Antaris in Germany, Ozora and S.U.N. in Hungary, Glade in the UK, Summer never Ends, Reisefieber and Timegate in Switzerland, Hadra and Son Libre in France, Vortex in South Africa, Doof and Moksha in Israel, Transahara in Morocco, Transylvania Calling in Romania, Ometeotl, Poison and Fractal Dimension in Mexico, Universal Religion in Nepal and VER and Hill Top in India.

Memorable performances include headlining events in clubs from New York to San Francisco and Los Angeles, Montreal to Mexico City, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Shenzen, Osaka and Seoul to London, Berlin, Beirut and Tel Aviv, Cape Town to Melbourne, Bangalore and Goa and in nearly every other major venue and Trance epicentre in the world.

Besides this, Boom Shankar is the label manager of BMSS Records, where he has released a dozen best-selling compilations so far:

Transmissions, Transition, Cosmic Connections, the Trancendance triptych series (Prologue - Denouement - Epilogue), Trancefusion 1 and Trancefusion 2, the 20 years anniversary double CD compilation Return to the Source I and Return to the Source II and Ailiphilia Chapter 1 and 2.

Those compilations featured artists such as Aes Dana, Braincell, Tristan, Technossomy, Etnica, Pleiadians, Hux Flux, Total Eclipse, Sonic Species & Avalon, Eat Static, Pogo, Lucas & Mechanimal, Egorythmia, Ovnimoon, Atmos, Cosmosis, Electrypnose, Hujaboy, Captain Hook, Headroom & Zen Mechanics, Entheogenic, Talpa, Martian Arts, Outsiders, ManMadeMan, Hypnoise or Hypnocoustics alongside all BMSS Records residents.
