I  have three soundclouds so far this one but also cjberryguitarist2  and cjberryguitarist3                                                                                                                                                                                                 Playing the guitar since the age of 15, CJ Berry has progressed through the many years always advancing both his technique and his stylistic ability on his chosen  instrument. The guitar is his  first instrument and he can play  virtually ANY style or idiom on it. Jazz, Funk, Rock, RnB, Classical, Folk, Blues and Pop etc. He can and does sight-read on the guitar. CJ has recorded on at least five released albums using both acoustic and electric guitars.He plays a steel string Lowden O22 acoustic/electric guitar for folk pop and soft rock styles, a Fender standard Stratocaster for blues, rock and pop styles, a DeArmond, X-155 guitar for jazz styles and an Ibanez JEM7 for rock and fusion styles.

On the iPad I use Garageband.

From there I use an M Audio Axiom 49 keyboard controller and my DAW (Logic Pro X) Other than collaborating artists there are no other external instruments used.

As you will see I don't like to stay in one genre for too long and sometimes my tracks are made up of more than one genre.

Most of my early tracks are raw, no filters and straight to SoundCloud.  Some are just ideas that I just had to get out.  In the last couple years I've started producing the tracks on a more professional level.

All tracks are created from scratch, every note, every beat is mine. 

As you will notice I love to collaborate with other artists.  Some of my favorite musical geniuses have agreed to add their magic, flavor and color to my musical canvases.  I thank them and hope you visit their SoundCloud pages as well.
