French DJ and producer, Ok Pal! marks people’s minds through his approach to music. His sets do not fail to arouse desires for grandeur and adventure in the hearts of those who listen to him. Child of Parisian clubbing, Ok Pal! likes to plunge his audience into epic atmospheres by drawing on his favourite inspirations (M83, Keith Jarett, The Blessed Madonna) and his unconditional love of synthesizers. His first EP is released on Alan Dixon's label Love Attack with a remix from one of the most reclusive producers in electronic music, the elusive Vyvyan.

 
In his mixes are mixed as many homages to house and disco as to industrial and new wave notes of the 80s. Used to making dance the party places of the capital (La Folie, le Petit Bain, la Plage Glazart), Ok Pal! Is releasing an exclusive track in mid-June 2021 on the Community Center label. His first EP is scheduled for the summer on Alan Dixon's label Love Attack.

Undo (@undo) & Casiowaves (@casiowaves) team up for the first time to deliver a fantastic debut 12” on Factor City records (@factorcity). Four original and vibrant tracks of synth pop wave, crafted with retro synths and looking positively into the future.  Label boss Undo and Casiowaves aka Joan Malé first met in 2015 when Joan released his “Kepler 22b” ep on Factor City under his 5alad alias. He’s been releasing electronic music since the late nineties under different names in labels such us Expanding records, Cocoon, Discontinu and his own Inrecs Label. A collector of obsolete 8bit machines and synthesizers from the eighties, Joan finally found the time last year to build a studio in his old restaurant’s kitchen, fittingly named The Ghost Kitchen. This is where the pair began playing and recording together in March, with both living in the same beautiful area of the north coast in Catalonia.  Opening the record we find the lead single “Stars Only Shine At Night”. A synth-driven trip with Undo’s emotive vocals. Pure pleasure on a dance-floor. Joining it on the A side is another tribute to the night, and another fresh Synth-Pop trip... "We love making and playing music at night, dancing at night, loving and driving at night."  On the flip “This Is Not The End Of The World” is a vocoderized italo-flavoured tune with haunting melodies. While “Call Me Tonight” energetically closes the record with it’s vocoder main theme, electroid beats and bass, filtered synths and wild arpeggios.

We discover this amazing french artist, two years ago, on Zone, a label managed by The Hacker. It was, for the owl, evidence of Endrik's collaboration. 
So, after several wonderful remixes, we are very happy to present to you the first release of our friend Endrik on Mélopée Records. A release that characterizes him perfectly, carried by a cosmic atmosphere and seeming to be inspired by Jean Michel Jarre himself...The first original "Reboot Robot" is the best summary of Endrik's talent.
Everything is here... Perfect cut rhythm, scatting percussions and the secret of this artist: the beauty of the pads and leads!
Close your eyes, it's time to go through the milky way!

With "Hypnotron", Endrik proves that he's also able to go outside of his comfort zone. The track breathes new life into house, bringing a celestial environment to this style thanks, once again, to wonderful pads that transport the listener to the depth of his mind.

The trio Leitstrahl complete the release with a perfect vintage remix of "Reboot Robot", more punchy. The soul of the original is preserved but we recognize without a doubt the power of the Italo "Leitstrahl" touch!

To close this amazing release, we are proud to include a remix of "Hypnotron" by the only one ROTCIV!

As soon as the first notes begin, we feel that the trip is going to be fabulous! The music never stops escalating up to the end, raising people's consciousness again and again to a state of melancholy and perfectly linked bliss...

Midnight To Monaco - One In A Million

Two generations of Italian music history come together on this split 7″. Milan meets Rome, Fred Ventura meets Alessandro Adriani. For this occasion Adriani and Ventura covered the 82′ evergreen ‘Changing’ by Bill Bruce. The perfect combination to pay homage to this monumental piece of music. On the flip side Fred’s early 80’s new wave band State Of Art got the remix treatment by Alessandro’s moniker Newclear Waves. Another unique match of these two key figures preserving the 80’s underground sound of Italy.

There was a strange tension which hung in the air, the stock market had come to a complete and utter standstill whilst several people had fallen slumped to the floor in disbelief. Money wasn't everything, at least that was what they had said back in high school. However, stood out there under the glow of advertising banners and digital displays it sure as hell felt like it. This was a 'cba quake' of monstrous proportions and how on earth were they supposed to bounce back? 

Jaures is next up on Die Orakel, the record label run by Oliver Hafenbauer out of Frankfurt and boy does he bring the heat. Perhaps one of our favourite releases this year so far. Worlds collide as he explores synth pop, electro and house.

PREMIERE: Jaures - Cba Quake [Die Orakel]

A regular at Cocktail d’Amore, Bell Towers is a Berlin-based Australian producer best known for his long-lasting collaboration with Munich’s Public Possession. Next to that, a number of projects under different monikers — namely Rim Boys, an evolving b2b with András.

“I'm Moving To Berlin” is his first EP for Cocktail d’Amore Music. It's a sparkling celebration of the party; its influence on the city and on the producer’s life tangents. “It’s too late now / There’s no turning back / I gave it all for Cocktail d’Amor…” Rohan confesses, while a hybrid EBM-synth pop sonic adventure unfolds.

What happens next is presented in “Sexual Intruder Alert” and “Approach and Identify”. The first comes through as a quirky multidimensional future-disco tale, while the second plunges deep into the cosmic hole with punchy percussions and an euphoric groove pattern.
