After having invited, a few months ago, eight of the best producers France currently has to offer, La Forge now temporarily steps away from the ‘Crysta Ampullaris’ series for a more radiant and solar output. ‘Crysta Ensolaris’ is fueled by the optimism inspired by the perspective of soon getting back on the dancefloor, after more than a year of privation : this sheer need to reunite and come together, be it day or night, during these sweet moments of daydream that we’ve all been missing so much.
Back to an EP formula, our core main producers (Nigm, Slowglide, Lebird, Shonen Bat & Ayuji) gratify us with five tracks full of U.V. vibes. Soothing introduction ‘Ephemeral’, by Nigm, is an introspective downtempo nugget, not unlike a mystical journey under a zenith sun, with its load of sonic mirages and illusion. Then Slowglide turns the acid up, layering breakbeats into the incantatory ‘Solstice’, a big-beat-infused psychedelic track perfectly designed to launch a neo-pagan rave.
Suddenly, here comes the eclipse. Lebird’s ‘Adonia’, a high-energy electro banger, takes us to one of those sweltering nights when bodies undulate and collide, breathless as the kick drum hits. Then, wild kid Shonen Bat propels us towards a gigantic solarpunk rave in zero gravity with ‘Planet Serotonia’, a hybrid, alien-sounding track somewhere between breakbeat house & high-protein UK hardcore. Finally, Ayuji puts a finishing touch to this fantastic trip with ‘Heliopolis’, a swift, solar house gem mingling Detroit techno influences with some trance elements. Like an ultimate rush of dopamine at sunrise, just before the party draws to a close.

After a longer break of our Hypress Friends Mix series we are very happy about @rrrarrri s contribution. If you're out and about in Leipzig or interested in stylish innovative bass music streams/podcasts, you can't miss his Air Waves (@airwavesradio)shows at Callshop Radio (@callshopradio) and Radio Blau. With his contribution comes the guilt conclusion to our own origins. With his intuition and his massive repertoire of all bass music genres. Bassmusic is always the frame for him. Even if the mix is a bit more untypical for Rarry, he knows how to harmonize 4/4 beat with 90s rave and breakbeat. is background and bass influences are unmistakable. He also lets the local reference to the national Electro/Bass scene flow in with various tracks from labels from Berlin and Leipzig like @wetpakrec, @warningberlin, @clearmemory and @radiantlove.

#20 - RARRI - Hypress Friends

The next release of remixes for Moderna's debut album, "The Future Is Among
Us," is set to drop on October 17th via Brave New Rave.

The new EP dives into three standout tracks from the album, "The Future Is
Among Us," "DIE4U," and "Pappenheimer," and enlists a heavyweight cast of
collaborators to give them a new life.

The record opens with two very different, but equally powerful, remixes of the
title track. French duo Kimshies delivers a dark, club-ready slow-burner, while
Karassimeon cranks up the energy with an indie-dance, Italo bumper.

Next, "DIE4U" gets a thrilling new perspective from Slow Motion Record's
founder Franz Scala and synth-wave doll Neu-Romancer. Both artists inject
their signature styles, transforming the original with their unique, unmistakable
flair.

Closing out the EP is Almost Falling, the new project from German producers
Esther Silex and Kotelett, who give us their downbeat version of
“Pappenheimer”.

This remix EP is more than just a collection of new versions—it's a bold
expansion of Moderna's original vision, further cementing "The Future Is Among
Us" as a quintessential electronic album.

DEKA (Rus. 'ДЭКА') is a new Moscow supergroup by Philipp Gorbachev (ARMA17, Cómeme) and Andrew Lee (Obgon, Interchain). 'Hilltown Disco are proud to announce the fourth Angel in their series, Angel Netzach.

The release will be available via Bandcamp from 27/03/20 with no price tag set for the release and every penny goes towards the worthy mental-health project, Art Angel Dundee who continue to change the lives of people in the Dundee area through different forms of art.
