Matti Turunen is probably best known for his work as Morphology (with Michael Diekmann) but here he goes it alone for a new EP on Cultivated Electronics vinyl-only series,  Cultivated Electronics Ltd.

Finnish electronic maestro, Turunen's previous solo ventures without his Morphology cohort are rare.  The last time was a track for AC Records in 2013 (which was remastered earlier this year for Bandcamp), but appearances have also cropped up on Abstract Forms, Muhk and Bliq in previous years.

For his 'Radau' EP on CE Ltd he turns up the Electro-funk to the max with lush arrangements, dulcet melodies and gritty beats – there's a warmth in the machines.

GAMADON (aka GAvin MAc DONagh) started collecting records and DJing in Dublin in 1996. He was born in Galway, grew up in Mullingar and is now based in London. He runs the Warehouse Manifesto record label.

The initial vinyl releases on Warehouse Manifesto Records are electro with some techno releases planned for 2024, all focused on tough, hard-hitting, underground sounds. The Warehouse Manifesto mix series’ guests include Ben Sims, Umwelt, Claude Young, Joey Beltram and also homegrown talent such as Jamie Behan, Nez, Cailín and Ryan Dallas.

Gavin has been DJing and running parties since the late nineties in his town of Mullingar and as far as Vancouver and Bermuda. He supported The Prodigy in Berlin, Hanover, Prague and Luxembourg during their 2015-16 tours.

Next, he joins Controlled Weirdness and Gunfinger Food for their ‘Electro &amp; Beyond’ night in Planet Wax, London on 30th September.

After months of protracted legal battles with the estate of Frank Farian we’re proud to present our latest, and 5th release ‘Emotion Detector’ EP by Sean Kosa, out on July 7 2024.

Track 1 ‘Drive’ is a journey through synthesized highways surrounded by gleaming towers built of debt. Status transport projectiles speed by in both directions blinding us with LED headlights and flashing medallions signifying wealth. Fractures appear as they slam against eroding infrastructure.

Track 2 ‘Downforce’ loops forward and backward through decaying brutalist cities and tunnels during an endless acid rainstorm. Sub bass competes with jackhammers replacing old neighbourhoods with condominiums supplying an endless amount of coffee. Ring roads constructed miles above the sidewalk carry human capital and currency in and out of the mirrored glass marketplace.

EP is available digitally July 7, 2024
