Phil and Simon met many years ago through a record shop in Belfast (Snafu). It was very much a case of having exactly the same values when it came to music and more importantly - mixing it... Since then the interest and standards have grown and grown and it is a vital part of their lives.

Continually sourcing new music and striving for perfection is what keeps us into Djing.

Influences come from the early progressive scene and the Dj's who championed it. Nowadays we draw from a huge range of sounds but always keeping in mind those records that inject an originality to our sets.

Anyone who has attended clubs in Northern Ireland from 1992 onwards will know Phil as he has played in every major club in the country and held residencies in some of the best venues including Charlie Heggarty's and Space (Belfast).

"Space was the first time we played in a club together" says Simon - I had sent a tape into the club and they invited me down

"A 15K rig has a serious impact on you and listening to Phil on it blew me away" recalls Simon.

Sadly these venues are no more but our enthusiasm is probably as high as it ever could be.

Began mixing in 1992 - since have played from Belfast to Brisbane Australia.

Production under the "Mindseye" name on Zazoo records.
