Dropping one year after Born On Road’s 1st release they thought it was time to flip the script and show you how diverse this label really is.

This straight up amen jungle tear out with power driving 808’s rings of the original underground sound born in warehouse raves and illegal free parties over the UK throughout the 90s.

‘Yuh No Badman’ begins in classic ragga jungle style with a great dubwize hook and chopped up vocals before dropping with solid amen edits and earth shattering 808’s which lead us smoothly into a rumbling reece bass the Renegade would be proud of.

As proved by the label’s DJs over the summer, this is a serious stomper fit for any party to do some serious damage!

If that wasn’t enough they also offer you two remixes, the 1st from hot newcomer Fleck and the 2nd from well established label man himself Gold Dubs.

Born on Road is a Bristol-based record label and DJ collective firmly rooted at the heart of drum and bass and jungle’s underground music scene. Since being established in 2013, we’ve built a reputation as an eclectic outfit known for pushing good music. It doesn’t matter if it’s jungle, jump up, ragga or some sublime vocal work, if we vibe with it then we’ll champion it to the masses.

This is an attitude born from our history in the underground music scene, where the free-flowing energy of sound system culture formed the foundations of the label’s all-inclusive ethos. It’s the reason why we’ve quickly grown into a sprawling music family who all support one another’s careers. From stage takeovers at festivals including Boomtown and Glastonbury, to signing the most exciting homegrown talents, Born on Road are always looking for ways to drive forward the underground scene, along with the artists inside it.

We may be a new wave music label, but we adopt the old school approach of putting the music first before anything else. This journey has been an eventful one so far, but there’s still plenty more to come on the road ahead.
