Country of Origin: Adelaide, South Australia.

A vernacular term that originated within house parties, afterparties, and underages - and slowly progressed into the vocabulary of some of Adelaide's leading nightlife destinations. Currently holding residence at Apple Bar Thursdays and Hey Mr Mister Saturdays. 

The term 'Borna' describes an intense connection to the music scene, irresistibly high levels of enthusiasm, a tireless promoter and an impressive mark upon the Adelaide nightlife scene.

The term 'Borna' has been used to support the work of many scholars, namely; Adrian Lux, Hot Chip, Yolanda Be Cool, Sidney Samson, Surkin, Morgan Page, Thomas Gold, Treasure Fingers, Vandalism, DJ Craze, The Stafford Brothers, Feenixpawl, 360, AJAX, Yacht Club DJs, Bag Raiders, Uffie, Tai, the Aston Shuffle, Boy 8-Bit, Kid Sister, Nina Las Vegas, Sam La More, Tenzin, Andy Murphy and etcetera.
