From being raised in the heart of Santa Clara and around the vibrant streets of San Jose, Rob B or initially Robby Belong is an upcoming DJ in the Bay Area's EDM scene. Though he’s only been behind the decks since April 2024, Rob B has already made an undeniable impact, rapidly evolving his craft with the support of an inspiring circle of friends and his following. In less than a year, he’s played at venues such as Monarch SF supporting LYNY and Buzzworks in San Francisco, and has even thrown down at an underground warehouse event already — maybe a testament to his raw talent and dedication to his craft or is it just a good music selection?

Rob B’s love for electronic music began long before he touched a set of controllers or CDJ’s. He was going to elementary blasting EDM in his headphones. He was first immersed in the sounds of dubstep and EDM legends like Major Lazer, Modestep, Zedd, Knife Party, Swedish House Mafia, Krewella, Jackal, Datsik, Diplo, and Skrillex. It was this early exposure that sparked his passion for every genre of music and laid the foundation for his musical journey once he touched a controller. 

Initially drawn to Techno, House, and Psytrance when starting out, Rob B’s sound has evolved as he’s honed his skills. Today, he seamlessly blends Hard House, Hardgroove, and Euro Dance, drawing inspiration from the sounds of those like Kettama, X-Club, BAUGRUPPE90, PARTIBOI69, Tommy Holohan, Funk Assault, DJ Heartstring, Mall Grab, DATSKO and JXXXO. Known for his ability to balance intricate harmonies and melodies with hard-hitting niche bass, Rob B creates sets that appeal to both house enthusiasts and techno purists alike.

Whether he's dropping heavy techno euro beats or house grooves, Rob B is all about creating that perfect vibe and for his community — something for the house lovers, the techno heads, and everyone in between. Keep an eye on him… he’s just getting started.
