Tumelo Thakadu better known by his stage name as DJ Tux is  a DJ, Producer, Composer And Founder/Co -Owner Of Rusty Beats Records. DJ Tux , who hails from South Africa’s Rustenburg in the North West Province,  began his musical journey  at the young  age of 14. Having Gospel  music close to his heart, and being a keyboard player  at church and a local jazz band. DJ Tux took a break from music after high school and persued a Diploma in IT.  
After taking a long break in music he  started deejaying part time and soon he was booked at local parties and pubs and later met up with his best friend  Gift Seemise to form GTL Music, which is a music management company and Rusty Beats Records which is his current record label. 
He then produced music for local artists in various genres including gospel and hip hop. 
He has a couple of house remixes under his belt and is soon to release his debut EP later this year.

IN THE NAME OF DEEP HOUSE ___________ SEE YOU ON SUNDAY

I'm not going to say allot about myself here, hate writing these things, but yeah... 

When I was young and attractive I used to be a guitarist, drummer and played a bit of bass guitar in a few bands and believe that some said had an kick ass voice and rocked peoples socks off, lol, perhaps true but those days are long gone and all I am today is still young, have an ear for music and vocals, love music especially all kinds of tech and house music as I grew up and progressed over the years along with it since it all started, it was part of my life.

I DJ'd alongside a few well known names, and I always lived for that one singular moment when you take the crowd on a journey through music and become more than just one with them and their lives, its a closed loop where we feed of each others beings and live and share these moments together, That's the moments that will be with me for the rest of my life and I must admit miss. I still do the odd gig here and there, but wouldn't mind causing havoc on the dance floor more often.

Other than that, I enjoy quite time, outdoors especially, socializing with friends, family, but most of all music...

Since the age of 10 I have been composing, and writing songs about my experiences in life.
The songs I created came in all shapes and styles as I experimented over the years from Pop, Folk, Rock and even Hip hop. Now I'm 24 and  iv written over 200 Songs.

I never had time to form my own band so I learn't most of the instruments on my own and arranged and produced my musical tracks on my own.

I see myself as a Songwriter for the people, and at times people and their stories have given me inspiration to write certain songs.

I hope you like my music :)
