Recorded this cover with my sister way back in 2005. I just listened again, and decided to remaster and post it spontaneously. Enjoy!

"Ain't No Sunshine" was originally written by Bill Withers for his 1971 album Just As I Am, produced by Booker T. Jones.

This song has been covered by many artists, including Paul McCartney, Isaac Hayes, Lionel Hampton, Prince, Sting, Michael Jackson, Kenny Rogers, Tom Jones and Lighthouse Family, Black Label Society. It was also interpolated by rapper DMX for his 2001 song "No Sunshine."

The song reached the Top 40 again in 2009, when it was sung by Kris Allen in the eighth season of American Idol.
