Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Sakalem moved to the United States as a young adult, finding his new home in Brooklyn, New York. Sakalem began his journey into music production in Summer 2023. He quickly achieved international success with his remixes being featured at major events such as Rio Carnaval, São Paulo Pride, NYC Pride, Madrid Pride, Circuit Festival Barcelona, and more.

Sakalem combines Brazil's tribal groove with New York's electronic vibes,  blending big room, house, techno, and pop into his explosive circuit sets.

He has played for events in NYC (Fever, Renegade, Worship) and, in the last year, has also brought his music to São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Miami, Philadelphia, Austin, Dallas, Boston, and Phoenix.
