When the nights get darker, we all need ‘Light Rhythms’… A Robsoul debut from one of the busiest men in house right now; Russia’s Lebedev. 
Four light-footed, sure-styled jacking cuts in total, they follow a whirlwind of releases on the likes of Nurvous, Blacksoul, Piston, Good Vibes Only and Henry Street. More importantly, they all hit the groove bullseye slap bang centre. 
‘Light Rhythm’ sets the tone, swooshing filtered chords, faraway piano twinkles, strong nuances of jazz. ‘Sound Sketch’ takes us up a notch with a much more direct slapping-snare groove and a strong twang of Chi-town spirit while ‘Autumn Mood’ sets the funk vibe high with primed organs, airy percussion shades and brazenly lolloping slapbass line. FInally ‘Raw’ closes the show with a little more introspection and the wooziest of flutters on the fills. Restrained, hazy, unhurried. These will only get better with age. Get involved. Many rhythms make light work…
