The Gus Tinto as we know him, has begun as little as any other DJ. He grew up in the region of Rotterdam in the Netherlands en has played the piano ever since he was able to walk. He had his own drive-in-show as a teenager and played for his school and local sportclubs.
When he made his first steps as DJ ‘The Clubdoctor’ in 1997, he was invited for several large party’s within a year. He stood next to some familiar (Dutch) DJ’s like; Robin Alberts (Jaydee), 2 O’clock Ron, Miss Monica, Mark van Dale, Darkraver, Stanton, DJ Paul Elstak and many others.

By now, he has changed his name to DJ Gus Tinto, this fits him and his style of music better. He managed to develop his own sound and is inspired by the party sounds of his favorite party island, Ibiza. Gus Tinto has been varying several music styles like; Tech house, latinhouse, funky club, progressieve club & vocals.
DJ’s like Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez & Roog has always been a great influence on Gus Tinto. He has shared the decks with top producers and top jocks: Erick Eerdhuizen (Erick E), dj Roog, Funkerman, Baggi Begovic, Lucien Foort, Jean. and many others.
Gus Tinto is to be found at many clubs, party’s and events in the regions of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and internationally Belgium, Valencia, Barcelona and Ibiza Spain. This year (2012) he was on a special promo tour at the coast of Spain and ended later this summer on Ibiza. There he play's just like dj Roog & Lucin Foort on one of the cruises of: Ibiza Party Cruises.

Between his gigs, you can find him in his studio and working hard at producing his tracks & remixes for various national and international Record labels. Gus has worked in the studio with, among others, Gus Calderone (The House Moguls), Aad Mouthaan, Mitch Major, Bram Troost to name a few. Gus' latest (digital) release is the Dutch Tech EP on the illustrious Funktion Black label at Chicago (out in sept 2012).

As a producer, his continues efforts in the studio have paid off. Steve has been releasing numerous quality hits, which have received global support. 


Steve has over 90 releases out and his tracks to date have received heavy support from Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Joseph Capriati, Luigi Madonna, Markantonio, Marco Bailey, Cristian Varela, Nicole Moudaber, Carlo Lio, Slam, Umek, Roberto Capuano and many many more. He has released tracks & remixes on major labels as Intec, Unrilis, Phobiq, Bush, Toolroom, MB Elektronics, Pornographic, Transmit, Nervous, Cr2, Detone, Global Underground (release featured on Global Underground mix compilation by Carl Cox) and more. From 2008 till 2016 tracks were licensed to the last 9 mix compilations by Carl Cox (including the latest Global Underground – GU38 – Black Rock Desert) and Carl Cox’ – Space Ibiza 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2016 album, Paul van Dyk’s Cream Ibiza 2008 CD, and Eddie Halliwell’s Cream Ibiza 2010 CD.


It goes without saying that Steve Mulder is spinning at all the hottest places around the world: Space – Ibiza, Womb – Tokyo, Matter – London, Sankeys – Manchester, Ministry Of Sound – London, Privilege – Ibiza, Escape – Amsterdam, Dance Valley to name a few.


He also records his own radio show called “Technation” which is aired globally on DI.FM and syndicated worldwide, and has done guest mixes on Carl Cox’ Global Radio Show, Marco Bailey’s Elektronic Force Podcast, Cristian Varela’s Pornographic Radio Show, Eddie Halliwell’s Fire It Up Radio Show, Paul van Dyk’s Vandit Sessions plus many others.


In 2014 he launched his own label – Orange Recordings – with it being one of the most fast-rising imprints and within a few months have been established as one of the most respected labels at the moment. Artists like Carl Cox, Cristian Varela, Spartaque, Spektre, Rob Hes, Gabriel D’or & Bordoy, Peter Bailey, Richie Santana and of course Steve Mulder himself have already left their orange signature by providing top-quality productions. Orange is the new black as their fans say, and moreover Steve’s long successful history, still has long and bright future in front. Keep your eyes on him!

Biography:
Walter was born on 1975 in Rotterdam. 
Walter 's interest in house music started in the early `90. In the year 2000 he started producing house music himself. Styles like trance,tech trance ,techno and house music. In the year 2003 he gave i life performance act on his groovebox of his music in Nighttown Rotterdam and later on Dance Valley festival in Spaarnwoude The Nederlands with Erwin de Vos under the name of On the Wire. After a  break of some years he decided to make new productions . At the moment Walter is busy with producing new tracks and share some of  theme  on Soundcloud.
