Ananimuss Nani ( born Roneil Hugh Hart Aug 5th, 1989) is a Jamaican Dancehall Deejay. He was born in St. Elizabeth's Black River Hospital and is the fourth of six children. He was raised in a small town in St. Elizabeth and spent his teenage years abroad in the U.S. Ananimuss was influenced by music at a tender age by his older brother Enton(Blaxx) and Enton's best friend Mwata (Bonez) who were also an aspiring DeeJays. At that time Nani's favorite dancehall artists were some like Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Ninja Man and Buju Banton just to name a few. "I remember my brother coming home with his first recorded song on a cd and couldn't believe" recalls the Deejay in one of his most recent sit-downs. At the age of fourteen Nani met aspiring Deejays I Caliba and Kojo Ranks who he instantly clicked with and began creating music and sharing ideas. Most days after school the trio would meet up and imitate their favorite artists and write their own lyrics, after a while creating music became second nature to Ananimuss. Despite growing up around so many artists and musicians Nani made his debut in the booth at the age of 19 during a heated lyrical clash with another local group, Yes! His first song was a diss song! A few years after Ananimuss would find his self in another type of heated battle with the law. On March 8th 2013 Roneil Hart ( Ananimuss Nani) was convicted of First Degree Robbery and sentenced to 8 years in Prison. After serving a little over two years he was released in May of 2015 on good behavior terms. While away Nani passed time by writing up to five songs per day, reading a lot of books and educating himself whenever he got the chance. Upon his return home he was determined for everyone to hear his voice and to take the world by storm. To date Ananimuss has over 30 songs recorded and, just recently released an unofficial mixtape by the name of "Cover Grung" Produced by Sibling Music Sibling Music.com (which is available on sound cloud and youtube) and has performed on a number of shows in his residing state. Ananimuss has definitely captivated the ears of many listeners and is known for his unique flow, lyrical abilities and urban culture references.

What has been the ongoing & continued growth success of DJ EPIK one might ask? One word: MUSIC. 

It is his pure love for one thing - SOCA MUSIC. Soca music is the core aspect of DJ EPIK’s life and career, making soca music his heart and soul. DJ EPIK bleeds and wholeheartedly shares his culture within his community and amongst the vast population of music lovers in LA. 

The depth of his love for music stems from his father who is Trinidadian. Alongside his mother who is American, they have been the support system that has assisted in DJ Epik mastering his craft. 

DJ Epik has not strayed from soca or music due to the fact that his father was also a DJ. It is without a doubt that music surely runs through both their veins. Both their love for soca music and each other has shined through ever since DJ Epik started to DJ at the age of 8. 

Over the years, the love for music and soca has developed into something more. It has developed into a love for community and togetherness. In 2020 DJ Epik joined Bad Company Music Group where he works alongside others who share the passion of one thing: music. 

The main focus for DJ EPIK is to proudly showcase Soca by coordinating events in the LA Community & worldwide. DJ Epik pridefully showcases his love for music, culture, & togetherness by curating JAMISH events in collaboration with both of his partners. Jamish is but a small portion of how DJ Epik plans to showcase soca and Caribbean culture to these near and abroad. DJ EPIK’s main goal is to expand Jamish from city to city and make soca well known globally!
