The Bombist presents the last Bost&Bim’s opus, the first since Jérémie « Bim » Dessus’s death: Bost&Bim Ft Brisa Roché & Winston McAnuff. Best Reggae Album’s Grammy winner with Morgan Heritage, Bost&Bim are back with Brisa Roché & Winston McAnuff, 2 particular artists who have a specific link with the duo:
Brisa was with the Lone Ranger, « Jamaican Boy »’s voice, and Bost&Bim often played with Winston on stage.
This project will be released digitally as 2 EPs, one with Brisa and the other with Winston, including 4 original tracks, one cover, one remix and a dub on each EP. It will also be released in vinyl, one side per artist.
For Brisa, used to riding on very different music styles, reggae is an occasion to experiment with her particular "retro" voice. For Winston, this is a « back to the roots » after several cross-over projects along side Fixi or Camille Bazbaz.
The project was mixed by Laurent Dupuy, double Grammy engineer who’s been working with the duo for a long time and by Waks, Fabwize (Dub Monster) and Serial.
