B Miu (Brian Miu) is a Bay Area musician and singer/songwriter that has been playing in local rock bands for the last 15 years: Rattlesnakes! (bass), The Reckless Kind (bass and vox), and currently the Sunset Shipwrecks (bass and vox). During this time he has had the privilege to closely work and play with   Ryan Massey (American Steel, Communique), Scott Healey (drummer American Steele), Adam Carson (drummer AFI)  Mike Urbano (drummer for Smash Mouth, Third Eye Blind, Cake, Alanis Morrisette) , Kevin Army (Green Day, Jawbreak) , Michael Rosen (Rancid).

Brian  plays guitar, piano, bass, percussion, and sings. But most of all, Brian loves composing original songs which have been used for his bands and his solo project (B Miu). His inspirations are: CCR, Nirvana, Michael Jackson, The Beatles, Weezer, Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, Tupac, Biggie, Kanye, Jay Z, Ryan Adams, Jawbreaker, Queen, Van Gogh, Picasso, Dali, Lauren Hill, Sam Cooke, Elliot Smith, Conor Oberst, Johnny Cash
