Singer songwriter from the Heart of England with a box full of old and new songs on a mission to understand the art of recording and mixing. Most started life on my trusty Martin acoustic and have been played live but never been given the luxury of being recorded. I suspect am gonna be at this for quite a while!

I started drumming around 1959 and used to lived in Surrey. I played all around the London area for about eight years from the late 60s to the 70s in a wide variety of venues and music styles including rock and roll, small band jazz, blues and country. Included in this time was about four years playing in a very successful rock 'n' roll band to packed venues in south east London. I gave up playing in 1982 when I moved to the Midlands area to live. In 2011 my son rekindled my desire to play drums and took me by complete surprise by giving me a Yamaha drum kit for Christmas! Since then I have been playing in covers and jazz bands around the Warwickshire and West Midlands area but decided recently that I would go back to my rock and roll roots and form a band playing 50s and 60s rock 'n' roll. Hence the ROCK THE JOINT band – the band that has evolved from my decision to do just that!
