Soft sofas, whispers of "I love you,"
Will we always stay the same?
Hidden under our costumes,
Who’s hiding in these folds?

But I’m a bit Hyde and Jekyll.

I feel a tiger in my chest,
Purring while I brood,
A tiger as gentle as a lamb,

It always moves with me,
Supports me when you're not here,
And when I pet its head,
I regain my strength.

You call me your "sweetie," your "baby,"
But sometimes I have other instincts.

Don't worry, it ‘ s quite docile
Even if it growls sometimes,
I know it only wants my good,
I feel its muscles beneath my hands.

It slips down to my feet,
To sleep, and I feel safe.
It stands guard, it shows off,
And gently brushes against my skin.

You have no reason to be jealous,
Between us, it's crazy love.
I'm no longer that fragile thing—
It's a true metamorphosis.

It’s jumping and I light up,
I live life like a rodeo,
I've found my spirit animal-ego.
