Mecanik is a purist when it comes to his productions. Making beats and instrumentals with hard hitting drums and preserving the grit and dirt that was very prominent in the "Golden Era" of East Cost / Boom Bap style Hip Hop. 
Mecanik has been immersed in Hip Hop since the late 80's when he fell in love with sounds of the likes of A Tribe Called Quest, Eric B & Rakim, Dre, Tupac, Mob Deep, Mos Def, Nas, and Biggie...just to name a few. Mecanik credits producers such as DJ Premier, J-Dilla, Pete Rock, Large Professor, and RZA as his biggest influences in hip hop production. 
 After first falling in love with the styles and techniques of scratch dj's, Mecanik bought his first set of turntables when he was 15 and hasn't looked back since. " I remember watching DMC competitions on VHS, and I was hooked after that!" Pursuing his love for music and the creation process, Mecanik entered into the Conservatory of Recording Arts Master Recording program and graduated in early 2001. From there, his love for music took him to LA, where he interned for Front Page Recorders in Glendale CA in order to finish school. After finishing his internship with Front Page and acquiring a wealth of knowledge in the inner working of the studio, Mecanik eventually landed a paying job at Track Records Studios in North Hollywood. "This is definitely where I learned about the inner working of the studio, production, and how music is made on a major label scale." 
"I love finding dusty old records from the 'Bottom Crate' and turning them into something new. Hip Hop and creating music with like minded people is what I live for. It's what drives me and I'll always 'Keep Diggin' to better myself and my craft. I'm always down to collaborate with all artists, MC's, and producers alike."

Born full-blooded Irish, this M.C. has been recording, releasing and performing since 2001. Performing regionally, Blooded the Brave has taken his music to several different cities to reach the people with his heart-felt message.

"The stage is my home," say's the passionate rapper who commands the stage with passion and energy. His music can cross hip hop genres and category's as his influences were everything from Kid N' Play to Chuck D.

Something for everybody can be found in his music, but it's in the message that matters to this ever excited M.C. "We are all in this world together, and that is how we can overcome, achieve and accomplish what we want; together."
