@petermarks is the co-founder of @occasionvibration, which puts on some of the most talked about dance music events in Portland. He’s also a political activist who’s built digital tools for Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden and some of the largest labor unions in the country. The intersection of these two worlds is explored on his podcast “Rhythm Nation”, which features conversations with politically influenced musicians and musically influenced activists. 

Today, 9/4/2020, sees his debut release on @bottomforty with @sappho-presents-chingo. Their track “Lime Appeal” creeps in around the 9 minute mark of this hour long odyssey of tripped out dub, breezy house and breaks, 303-laced electro and low-slung disco.
